I think tucking the shirt in and adding a great heel would be all you'd need to do.

tuck... that's what stylish people call the
shirt tucked into the front just a little.
I prefer to wear them with tunic length
shirts just because I
think it looks a bit sleeker, but as you can see from the Betabrand site you can definitely wear them with a
tucked in
shirt.

I
think it all comes down to the styling... make sure the
shirt is either
tucked in front or all the way around so that you see your waist at least a little bit, roll or cuff the sleeves to gather some of the fabric, and unbutton from the top down a little more than you normally would to show a bit more skin.
I
thought about
tucking the
shirt in and wearing a braided belt with it, but I liked the ease of an untucked look for a plane ride.
I also
thought layering my necklace over my
shirt made the outfit look ten times better instead of
tucking my necklace in.
