I don't
think I've ever posted, but now I want to say that, even with some dietary modifications —
turkey bacon, whole wheat pasta — this is simply one of the best things I've ever eaten.
So delightful, in fact, I
think you could easily swap
turkey bacon or ditch the
bacon all together given the flavor of the other ingredients.
That's all you need to transform ANY leftover pasta dish into tomorrow's school lunch (
think turkey bolognese, or pasta with smokey
bacon), but these mac and cheese cups are the most popular version around here.
I
think it would be great with ground
turkey, and you could certainly leave the
bacon out.
I would never have
thought to stuff a
turkey cutlet with sausage and wrap it in
bacon!
