We've been having some cooler days and nights in DC, which gets me
thinking about shifting to
fall colors and
styles.

fall one way or another with my

think it is important to remember that fashion or
style is never dependent on money, you can achieve a very trendy look like I did in this post with Boy Friend Overalls for $ 35 or a basic weekend look with a Plaid Shirt.
HOWEVER, I am seeing a lot of people talk
about fall style and
fall outfits and even though I fully
think you can wear mustard jeans any season (since I do... I wear mine all the time!)
It's still a little over a month away from
fall but this unfriendly weather just got me
thinking about pre-
fall styles.
I love layered looks for
fall and this inspo really made me
think about it to
style it a bit differently this season.
I've had this lightweight anorak from Marshall's for
about 3 years and every
fall I pull it out and finds tons of new ways to wear it, I
think it cost me only
about $ 20 and this baby never goes out of
style (it's my «other denim jacket»).
An article in today's New York Times Sunday
Styles section got me
thinking about the indie - film phenomenon of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl: a young woman who's beautiful and quirky and perfect in the eyes of the lovestruck, mixed - up guy who
falls for her.
Don't get me wrong, Mr.K can deliver some excellent over the top cinema
style cut scenes, the MGS story as a whole is simple to grasp, but if you start
thinking about character motives, and scene setups... the story
falls apart.
So I just wanted to throw a few ideas out there to get you
thinking about how to transition your summer -
