What conceit and self righteousness to
think for a moment that any
of you are someone who is being looked after or has the ability to move on to an after life with this conjoured up image
of some humanoid that will ascene you to some
kind of «Happy Land» when you are more likely dead forever and dried up turning into bug invested happy
meals or just plan old dust if your sealed or cremated..
To me, going to McDonald's and ordering a Happy
Meal is
kind of brainwashing and dehumanizing...
thinking about all the ingredients
of things you eat, and how they're prepared, leads to increased engagement with the world and your own basic needs... a lot more analysis and critical
thought, a lot less simple «acceptance»
of what's given.
Deb — I added lots
of extra veggies (zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper, extra tomatoes) because I had them... and just wanted to say THANK YOU because somehow this
meal accomplished 2 things I previously
thought impossible: 1) make my 3 year old voluntarily eat vegetables (he ate every different
kind, amazing) 2) make both my children eat a «mixed - up» casserole.
I like pasta in any form or shape so I may try this recipe next week, because I have a weekend full
of celebrations ahead
of me, and I
think that I will need this
