My mouth is watering just
thinking about and listing the gorgeous possibilities
of making healthy
acai bowls!
With the knowledge I have and for the love
of all things healthy, I came up with is what I
think the BEST
Acai Bowl ever.
When I went home over break, I managed to locate
acai smoothie packs at the local Sprouts (I am in love with that store; I
think I've become a total hipster in terms
of food.
So, I
thought why not use the
acai juice as the liquid component for the chia seed pudding instead
of coconut milk?
Some laud it as a superfood (similar to
acai), but I like to
think of it as one more delicious fruit in my rainbow colored fruit repertoire.
Recently I passed unsweetened
Acai packets in the freezer section
of the grocery store and
thought of that experience and decided to give them a try again all these years later.
I don't
think I've ever posted my daily smoothie recipe before, but it has pineapple, cocoa or cacao, maca, spirulina, maqui,
acai, and a whole bunch
of other goodies too!
Look for: Some powders may also have added ingredients that claim to aid fat burning and support metabolism —
think green tea and
acai, although it's difficult to gauge whether ingredients shown to be effective in isolation increase the efficacy
of host products.
Please note: Beware that recently, unscrupulous marketers are currently trying to deceive you into
thinking that
acai pills are some sort
of «miracle weight loss cure»... They are even making up fake blogs about people supposedly losing ridiculous amounts
of weight simply by popping an
acai pill daily (and then they try to sell you these supplements)... These are FAKE stories, and you should realize that although
acai is a very healthy antioxidant food, it is NOT a miracle weight loss cure!
You probably
think I m going to tell you to drink Green Tea, or do a juice fast, or drink
Acai berry juice, but none
of those will help you loose stomach fat.
The
acai berry is also
thought of the miracle fruit offering prevention against diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
