I really like the idea of Bergkamp as our manager (yes, I'm
thinking of our next manager already, got problems with that?

The

thoughts on why it has become necessary to campaign against the majority
of money
managers and what has gone wrong.
Next up is struggling Crystal Palace and with the game being played at the Emirates stadium on new years day and looking at Palace's league position and recent form you might
think it is another three points in the bag, except for the fact that they have a new
manager in the shape
of Sam Allardyce and according to a Sky Sports report the Palace defender Martin Kelly reckons that the Big Sam effect is already making itself felt at Selhurst Park.
I have a lot
of respect for getting the best out
of his players and actually
thought he might have been the
next England
manager.
How terribly sad... we have fallen so far that we find ourselves in the ridiculous position
of propping up the oft - injured and rarely inspirational Jack Wiltshire... what's
next, extending Walcott, Welbeck and Ramsey... can't you see that these players have nothing to do with winning and all to do with providing recognizable names to the plastic fans who frequent our overgrown library
of a stadium... it's high time we rid this club
of one
of the worlds most incompetent and unsuccessful owners (look it up) and our fragile and spineless
manager (much like our club) who can't bring in the best talent because he knows he can't live up to expectations that come with players
of that ilk...
think about it, he couldn't even handle Sanchez, who was largely a periphery character in Barcelona
I do
think the
next manager could be the catalyst for the def to get that leader needed and install some confidence in the teams ability to defend (by coaching them to defend) and I
think some
of them could win you over if given the time.
Yes
of course the
next manager is important, BUT if I
thought Wenger would actually stand down voluntarily, WHICH I DO N'T, not for one moment and all the past evidence backs me up, I would be happy to try and get fourth.
thing is i
think ancelotti would love to take up the baton and jump at the stability
of being our
next manager — thing is there's so much ego and narcissistic tendency behind the scenes at arsenal that i'm concerned whether the club has the guts or the will to get behind another
manager and to show what is really meant by ambition and «catalyst for change» — we need new ideas, for sure.
Arsenal personnel are too simple minded and i
think this stems from the personality
of the
manager, i strongly doubt the players felt the emotion
of s lost
of two points, compared to that
of the fans, we need personnels to be benched and shown that they have to work for their space, but guess what we do not have that luxury for some players and position, thats why our captain felt like a point was ok, thats why wilshere feel there is no need to track back, the whole sense
of responsibility for ones action is not there and all the
manager does is pat them on the back and say we will get them the
next time.
Former Tottenham, Juventus and Ajax star Edgar Davids, who is currently the side's
manager, was sent off for two bookable offences and the supporters
thought they would see no more
of the dreadlocked Dutchman until their side's
next game.
I
think the
manager is trying to get Akpom some valuable experience as well because the 19 - year old has been fantastic for the reserves, with nine goals in as many games, and he could be the
next big thing to come out
of the Arsenal academy.
As well as trying to send a message to the Arsenal
manager, I
think Deila is talking to his player as well and trying to get his centre back to see the benefits
of waiting a little bit longer to make the
next step.
For any that are
thinking of leaving, I would say to them, at least stay for
next season, and see how we get on with our new
manager.
For those who do nt watch Schneiderlin play, do it when southampton play
next and you will see half Arteta in terms
of ball control and passing, and half Coquelin in terms
of tackling... thats some combination if you ask me... i must admit though, nobody in this league can intercept like Le Coq... am still yet to decode how he anticipates a pass before it happens and if you were to ask David Silva, he would still be figuring it out... That said, Schneiderlin would be a massive improvement on our team... to
think about a midfield trio
of Ozil, Schneiderlin and Le Coq would excite any
manager with ambition.
I
think only barca real or Bayern can tempt those players away from leicester, they would give at least a year to the club, but season after that they will move onto other club depending on their form
next season. As for arsenal transfer i wouldn't want to listen to rumours as most
of the times these rumours are just utter garbage.i want a certain rumour about Wolfsburg signing giroud to be true.Anyways if our idiotic
manager has some sense left in him after an embarrassing season he should get a premium striker which the club needed for past 4 years. He need to put his ego aside and his old philosophy
of waiting for players to develop. We need already established players in every department
of our team.Penny pinching has cost us just pay the damn money get the players.I get the feeling
next season is going to be harder and we have less chance
of winning cause man city have had 2 seasons without premier league and guardiola is gonna bring more quality and hunger to that team.
Next season is going to be tough particularly with the arrival
of the new
managers to the premier league with their shopping list we need to move quick and be quite and cute with our singing I still
think we should get jenssen
I'm so sick
of people telling those
of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part
of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have...
think about it, we've witnessed a changing
of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current
manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone
of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie
of all: that we couldn't spend because
of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I
think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our
next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
I
think all Arsenal fans are in dire need
of an announcement from Arsene Wenger (or the Board) with a definitive decision on whether Le Prof will still be the Arsenal
manager next season or not.
2 things; wenger has to take massive crtisism for favoritism with certain players and for spending latley on less than whats needed e.g why play ozil, ramsey, walcott, when they havnt performed, anyone can see a front 3
of welbeck, sanchez and perez would cause havoc Xhaka wtf he cant takle, is not mobile enough and has the temper and the decision making skills
of a
of a suicide victim, why did nt we go in for Kante less money and 10x a better player or even Schneiderlin
thinking about what happens after wenger ask yourself this will we win the league
next year with wenger then ask if we got the right
manager next year would we win the league
I
think another
manager can bring some
of those players to the
next level.
Of course I'll spare a
thought for our
next manager if the same happens again, because it will most likely be crucial, as I can not imagine we'll concede five in the first leg again.
I
think Enrique or ancelotti are our boards type
of next manager.
The AOB are just idiots who can't
think more than 1 step ahead, they want rid
of Wenger and
next year they will want rid
of «insert new
manager here» and then we will be in the same situation.
Here we are... And happy to acknowledge performance
of anyone who scores 3 goals... but if u
think Ramsey is going to take us to
next level u r dreaming... Mivement and passing
of miki ozil pea is what made difference today opening up space which Ramsey to his credit exploited... But what we need is a
manager who can combine those three with laca and wilshere....
Also jimmy jazz again great name by the way i
think the fact were 6th in ayer purchases and i agree without kane spurs would be below without kaneuckeu them for now but i see laca will be better
next year and auba will have had a taste
of the rigorous epl and because its a world cup year we need stability with wenger for atleast another year i
think were vying for that spot and wi th cazorla coming back and hopfully Jack signs with a couple good signings if we splash some cash and ozil already signed we could surprise the league
next year with a very strong season and Leicester surprised apparently everybody but us cause we handled them well that year but no one else dod and we finished second but i
think its not so good for a big club like us with internationals in a world cup year to change
managers do it in a non world cup year cause you only have a couple weeks with your players maybe less with some before season starts
If you
think that you would be better than Wenger then why don't you try to be the
next manager of Arsenal?
Would rather get rid
of everyone that wants to leave including ozil, Do not buy anyone play the youngsters get rid
of the whole lot Kronke and all the board members and
manager, And start from scratch, All the fans unite for this season back the team then start the rebuilding
next season, Will take a few years but i
think the club would then come back stronger than ever.
It wil not be easy,
of course, but I do
think that we will not have to worry about Man City as they are set for a big shake - up in the summer, and will start the
next campaign with many new players as well as a new
manager — and it will almost certainly take some time for them to settle down.
We do need one more
thought Flamini might move to accommodate le Coq and aWC DM like let's say Scheinderlin or Llaramendi for example... to fulfill our objectives
next season and not lose so many points so early & also be more solid against big teams consistently... but given room for Coquelin to keep improving and getting is a testament
of the
manager trust that he can be that guy for us until the end
of the season and play a big role the
next one even with a DM purchase.
Joining a club
of arsenal s stature has its ups and downs. There is a requirement
of how our players should perform when on the pitch. The following is a list
of players who were wrong to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured
of all players at the club now.I cant help but
think how it would have gone for Him if he decided to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him to get used to the rythm
of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been better off at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented player from southampton with raw talent. He was very good at first but wenger found a way to reduce his level
of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his character modelled. That and he was ready to become a world beater. But wenger decided to let him run and run like a headless chicken causing him to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened to him gad he decided to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much better player than this.Theo walcott - Another player who was tipped to have a very bright future. He had it in him.But all he needed was an appropriate
manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top
of that another player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms well just recently. But imagine all the legendary players he was often compared to during his time at real madrid. On coming to arsenal he found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for players. And when at arsenal you have to be your own
manager. You need not rely on your
manager otherwise you might continue being the same player for the
next many years. That is why each and every player are what they are because
of their own efforts and wenger had nothing to do with it.Van persie was the same player for over 7 years untill he himself decided to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is in your court. It is not what so many people make it out to be.Thats why we need to pressure wenger more than our own players. They are their own self
managers and wenger needs to take that responsibility
All we should be
thinking about right now is how we can win the EPL and EL
next season irrespective
of who the
manager will be.
wenger is a blend
of corporate bagman and decent football
manager... so its business as usual really... i still
think that to take arsenal to
next level requires him to leave... there is still time but if all that happens over
next 6 weeks is we bring in a couple
of rushed purchases towards the end
of window i wouldnt be surprised....
And I don't
think is fair for the
next manager to start a total rebuild
of the squad when Arsenal still have some very good players now.
If we want Champion's League
next season we'll need Spuds to have an injury crisis, Liverfool to have some kind
of melt - down (Which is possible because I still
think that Klopp is over-rated), and pray that Everton don't overtake us using their newfound money and quality
manager.
this season is a total train wreck & I don't
think next season will be any better either... unless
of course we have a new
manager
Unless they are actually carrying a knock though, I
think that the Arsenal
manager will start all
of his big players against Everton today, despite the fact that we have the
next Capital One cup game coming up on Tuesday.
Which brings us to the open - ended question at the end
of an article: Do you prefer the umpires who don't like to
think critically after issuing a warning, tossing pitchers and
managers after the
next HBP, regardless
of the game situation?
Ed Fulton, political trading spokesman for Sporting Index, said: «After yet another enthralling Premier League season in England, timed nicely in the run up to a snap election
next month, we
thought it would be interesting to identify which
manager would generate the most support if they were to run for Prime Minister
of the United Kingdom.
It's got so sad I'm
thinking Jonny Evans be good signing because I'm
thinking he's better than wat we have sad but true mustafi is a lerk one min good
next min tackles fresh air, BFG is a wheelchair it's embarrassing kos is injury away from retirement oh but we have Monreal great player but not center back it's joke wenger loves football so that's why going forward we look good but defending not he's game bring back George graham just as defensive coach jez even Sam allardyce has Everton a lot tighter it's fact we can't defend for years I'm sick saying wenger is and will always be arsenal great always in my eyes but he has go for good
of everyone we need young fresh
manager and not someone mr wenger hand picks and he goes upstairs won't work can't work we need let new coaches do there job and let new
manager do he's and please give him money spend and laugh if ye want but the man for new job has be allergi has be if can't get den Luis Enrique if not him get Henry with vieria wat a buzz it be with them 2 my point.
I agree with you the players need some heat to perform to theor abilities and stop wasting created opportunities to kill games and or hold onto leads and i agree they need some heat to kick em in the arse to prevent them from under performing against milan but milan isnt city or chelsea but we need to beat them to get far in competition but i do nt
think the players missing chances this year is whole heartey down to the
manager and we need to finish out the year strong but with cazorla comong back and strengthening some spots in off season and now praying we finally have jack back this squad looks dangerous
next year and wenger will have a good year with arsenal
next year cazorla and another player will take time off xhaka and or put more pressure on him to perform but we have had success in recent seasons barley missing out on top four last year with highest points to ever miss out yes they need heat to perform strong rest
of year but it is not wengers time to go yet be needs another season and if these two years are falling off we have done better than are rivals in are tough years
It's just fair as an arsenal fan to expect a win or lose in every single game and go home and find yourself a good reason to smile and still hope for a better result on the
next game reason for this
thought pattern
of course is «wenger is still the
manager at arsenal».
So
of course Arsene Wenger has made mistakes, just like every other
manager in every football league across the planet and I'm sure he will make plenty more before the end
of the season, but I am referring to a couple
of specific and avoidable mistakes that I
think may come back to haunt the Frenchman when the dust settles on the Premier League
next summer.
Without defensive grit a team is nothing, yet our
manager thinks we can manage with the glaring deficiencies
of our thin first team defence at the moment, let alone the fact that EVERY football pundit / fan /
next doors dog knows we NEED a proper CDM, and NOT Arteta or Flamini.
Many
managers would not
think to praise any player not in their own team but Wenger was fulsome in his praise
of the young striker, declaring that he must surely be in the
next England team picked by Roy Hodgson.
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete
next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition
of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release
of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state
of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid
of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would
think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy
of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid
of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid
of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction
of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return
of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort
of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative
of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition
of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle
of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any
of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind
of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack
of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result
of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest
of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands
of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none
of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club
of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid
of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field
of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version
of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history
of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet
of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival
of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone
of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players
of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that
of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part
of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a
manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet
of those who were well aware all along
of the potential pitfalls
of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
This House
of Cards created by the thin - skinned narcissist and our absentee landlord is going to come crashing down over the
next 12 months and anyone who doesn't put the success
of the club ahead
of blind allegiances will need to check themselves so that we can move forward once the dust has settled... this club has been on auto - pilot for far too long and the same old, same old just won't cut it in the new EPL where many
of the best
managers, players and deepest pockets in the world now reside... just
think to yourself what has transpired in the last 7 years alone: Leicester City won the EPL, Chelsea and ManCity have changed several
managers and still won the League on multiple occasions, ManU lost Fergie yet we still didn't take advantage, Liverpool has emerged from their slumber and the Spurs are presently the better team in North London... if you find this acceptable, I feel for you and this future
of this club... hope you all enjoy fighting with Everton and West Ham for the final Europa spot every year (aka the new Wenger Cup)
I
think he'd be better
of in the championship, but hey this time
next season we should have a new
manager....
i would love nothing more than we get a forward
thinking manager in at the end
of season pep klopp etc or however can take us to the
next level, i just realistically accept the present problem at the moment and just hope we can maneuver our way around it until end
of season, i want nothing more than that we not just compete but run the league for years to come and am fully aware this may or may not happen under wenger as long as we win something big and take our place among the big 4 European clubs with a
manager that wants to make a name for himself with us.
I
think Wenger is unlikely to change in any way
next season and he has never been the type
of manager who has the ability to adjust tactics mid-game (could not even switch tactic mid-season).
