Believe it or not, even food bloggers are sometimes stumped when it comes to
thinking of the next recipe to create.
Not exact matches
Now I have an endless list
of recipes to try and I literally go to bed
thinking of all the yummy things I'll be trying the
next day!
Their first cookbook has over 100
recipes ranging from meals, snacks and sides and caters to all types
of cooks from beginners to those who tend to
think of themselves as the
next Jamie Oliver.
My resulting ratio ended up being 7: 4: 2.5: 1 (flour: liquid: fat: egg) if I counted the fruit purée as part
of the fat (which I
think,
next to sugar, is what it helps replace the most as far as the functionality
of the
recipe).
I like pasta in any form or shape so I may try this
recipe next week, because I have a weekend full
of celebrations ahead
of me, and I
think that I will need this kind
of simple meals the following days.
I made gingerbread cookies this year and they were fine, but
next year I will be testing out this
recipe and I
think the neighbors will enjoy the extraness

I mistakenly used bleached flour and I
think that did make a small difference in overall quality (slightly gummy center, instead
of a chewy crumb), and the crust was super crusty — difficult to slice — I'll wait until it cools more
next time — but otherwise this is the best bread
recipe I've ever tried!
I
think the
next time I do this
recipe, I will not cut them down into eight pieces per lemon, opting to leave some
of the slices larger, as I believe they will be easier to work with.
Great
recipe, but I
think next time I'm going to use roasted garlic instead
of the raw.
However, at this point I had such a firm idea
of what I
thought it should be, I made a few adjustments, swapping the water with stock, adding tomato paste (and I would add a can
of tomatoes
next time), cutting the vegetables smaller than the
recipe suggests and then... well, then I did this:
With the ease
of the
recipe I find it super convenient to make the day before so the

As I contemplate the
next yummy
recipe to post, it breaks my heart to
think that 25 %
of the nation's children go hungry.
In case you're like me, and still collecting
recipes for
next week, I
thought I'd share a few
of my favorite holiday sides — all
of them made with easy, all - natural ingredients!
That's what I did with the previous cookie dough ice cream
recipe — I just couldn't make 1/2 ″ balls
of cookie dough — or I
thought they were just too big... so, can we get Strawberry ice cream
next?
There are a bunch
of sweet
recipes on pinterest but
next time I
think I will try pb & j overnight oats.
I was actually going to wait until
next week to post the gluten free brownies
recipe but since it is Friday and the
recipe is just out
of this world, I
thought I would do you a favor and post dessert first.
Although the
recipe says they are best enjoyed day
of, I
thought the tartlets were fantastic eaten chilled the
next day, when they were like candy bars.
I do really want this
recipe to work, because I am
thinking next time to try baking powder instead
of soda, and to reduce the heat to about 325 and bake it for more like an hour and 20 minutes, to see if that helps (reducing the heat while extending the baking time will help keep the crust from burning while the inside fully cooks).
There's a Queen
of Puddings that has caught my eye too and I
think I will make that
next in addition to her new sticky toffee pudding
recipe.
Next time I will leave the oil out as I really don't
think this
recipe is at any risk
of being caky.
As further incentive to inspire you all to get into the kitchen and try out some
of these new
recipes and to really start incorporating more vegetables into your diet, I
thought it would be a fun idea to run a competition at the end
of it all, so stay tuned for more details over the
next few days:)
Even my husband is amazed at how much he has enjoyed some
of the
recipes — I
think our favourite so far is the sweet potato and black bean Tortillas — they are still yummy even cold the
next day too!

of my friends had a (non-vegan) salad that looked really luxurious and flavourful and it got me
thinking about what
