thought leaders to discuss the future of an
industry in the midst of a massive transformation.
He and other
industry professionals of the old
publishing paradigm are still holding onto that gate with both hands (and white knuckles)-- but readers like mine (who, granted, aren't into LIT - tra - chure, but just want to escape into a good read that gets them to
think and maybe even changes their outlook on life) aren't particularly flooding to read the books that were deemed acceptable reading material by the old - fashioned gatekeepers who tend to be looking for this year's bestseller to put out in multiple re-iterations in 2 - 3 years.
