seats and we're shocked to find it that the
third row only has one top tether anchor
SO we did the 3.5 yr old in the 3rd
row, infant in
third row, and 2 year old in one bucket w / the other bucket folded down.

third row for cargo space for when you've got Dad at home to watch your Bunch

third row is a tough sell for anyone taller than 5» 5 ″ or
so, though the space can be expanded a bit if the second -
row occupants can be convinced to slide their
seats forward.

As might be expected, the
third -
row seat chews up cargo space,
so you'll need to decide whether you want to carry up to 3 extra people or luggage for up to 5 travelers.
Even
so, unlike the Explorer and several other competitors, the Jeep doesn't have
third -
row seating, either standard or as an option.
Access to
third -
row seats can be tricky in some seven -
seaters, but the GLS deals with this by letting you easily flip the middle second -
row seat forward
so people can climb in.
One thing to note: That battery is tucked under the second
row of
seats,
so you'll only get the fold - flat Stow «n Go system for the

Performance from both of the conventional engines is lackluster for this class, and the
third -
row seat remains cramped,
so it's really only useful in a pinch and definitely only for kids.

seats are very flexible
so you can fold down the
third and second
row of
seats to enhance luggage space.
I removed the
third row seat to haul my tools
so I don't have that.
The second and
third row seating is cramped, but I'm the driver
so it doesn't apply to me.
So yeah, the Pilot is plenty big and it even has a certain trump card its competitors can't match:
seating for up to eight passengers thanks to a
third -
row seat that can fit three.
The
seats are comfortable, offering enough head and leg room for adults, the
third row is not quite
so generous but as long as there are only two adults back there or smaller children, space won't be a problem.
With its optional
third -
row seat, the SRX can carry seven people, but in doing
so loses most of its cargo space.
