i didn't realize until the last minute that i was out of olive
oil so i used
grapeseed oil - am
thinking it would be much better next time with the olive
oil as the dressing seemed a little «meek» - will definately give it another go.

I have not ventured into
grapeseed oil yet, so I used butter in equal amounts since I
thought that was the way you have substituted it before based on your choc.
Just wondering if you
think coconut
oil could be used in your cake and frosting recipes rather than
grapeseed oil??
You can make them without the xanthan gum, just add an extra 2 tablespoons of arrowroot in the dry ingredients (I don't
think starches are GAPS friendly though) and use honey or coconut nectar to replace the agave, and melted coconut
oil in place of the
grapeseed oil.
If the
thought of applying ghee to your skin is less than appealing, try
grapeseed oil.
One thing I noticed was that the
grapeseed oil seemed to thin out quite a bit when heated, so when you start out, you may want to use just a tiny amount (much less than you
think you need) and add more if you need it.
What do you
think about substituting the

I love how easy it was and I
think I will try it next time with
grapeseed oil and let you know how it turns out.
