For many job seekers, the idea that their employer doesn't really care what they want sounds cold, and they never
thought of their job search from that perspective.
Though hard, I still
thought of job search as a chance to learn new things, meet new people, and improve my skills.
No wonder so many executives and professionals are riddled with anxiety and unease at
the thought of another job search!
While many people
think of the job search as a rote process, there is a lot that can happen when you break from the norm and start thinking creatively.
Think of your job search in the sense of having a Personal Marketing Portfolio, or a portfolio of tools that helps you simply, directly, and clearly communicate your value to employers.
When you are applying for neonatal nurse jobs,
think of your job search as a competition.
If
you think of your job search like a sport, then it is natural to expect peaks and valleys in your own performance.
Think of your job search like running your own marketing campaign.
You should
think of your job search as a marathon rather than a sprint.
Think of your job search as a business.
Think of a job search as mounting a sustained campaign toward achieving career goals.

thought to include Pinterest as part
