powder) in one single recipe.
The
Vanilla Hemp Protein
powder at Trader Joe's is good in a pinch (some people
think this tastes too «woody» but I don't really notice it)!
You don't have to use the
vanilla protein
powder, although I
think it adds structure to the finished cake.
Filling 1/2 cup (4 ounces or 115 grams) cream cheese, softened 2 tablespoons (1 ounce or 30 grams) unsalted butter, softened 1/3 cup (40 grams)
powdered or confectioners» sugar 1/2 cup (130 grams) creamy peanut butter (I use Skippy but

As far as ingredients go, I use this oat flour, flax, almond butter, maple syrup, and my favorite Vega
Vanilla Protein + Greens (I
think it totally makes the flavor) for the protein
powder.
Fab flavour combos, orange white choc and cranberry always go great together — I also used raw honey in place of agave as I believe its a more natural, unrefined sweetner (agave isnt as innocent as you might
think — read up about it) As for those of you who wanted to know about the white choc chips, well I avoid all dairy and refined sugars so I simply made my own, its dead easy — simply combine pure raw cacao butter (gently melted) with a pinch of celtic salt, a little extract of
vanilla and some raw cashew butter, then freeze in a suitable container before breaking into chunks!!!!! yummy You can make dark chocolate chips even easier by melting pure coconut oil and stirring in a little
vanilla, honey and raw cacao
powder before freezing!!!
I haven't tried making them
vanilla but I don't
think subbing
vanilla paste for the cocoa
powder would turn out right.
I love using olive oil in baked goods, especially with chocolate, which I
think elevates the flavors of even simple ingredients, and I bumped up the
vanilla, and added espresso
powder.
I've been a longtime fan of Vega, but their new Vega One
vanilla shake is amazing; not only does it taste better (
think more of a smooth flavor, less of the typical protein
powder grittiness), but it has more protein, greens, vitamins and minerals.

I do something a bit similar but always with some kind of spice, like cardamom,
vanilla powder or nutmeg, and no syrup as I find these spices are pretty good at making you
think you're eating something sweeter.
I'm planning to make some substitution (pumpkin instead of sweet potatoes, because here in Italy sweet potatoes are difficult to be found) and I was wandering if chocolate protein
powder instead of
vanilla will work too... What do you
