through an area of the map and see something that you can't quite access yet... unlocking the skill required to clear an obstacle or some such, return to the prior area and explore further.
Multiple times I found my character would jump
through areas of the map leaving themselves floating in an empty void of nothingness.

The biggest drawback to this sort
of navigation came as I drove
through areas with no cellular coverage, leaving my
map screen blank.

map of Germany would have been useful for a better understanding
of the
area through which they traveled.

areas of the

Because this means I'm about to go into an
area, usually without any helpful
map, that may or may not have loads
of secrets but most definitely has multiple forking pathways that lead me to dead ends left and right, or even worse, loop back around on each other, making it very tough to look
through and explore it without getting utterly lost.
Even the early dungeons are quite the slog, and since I didn't want to draw large
maps of the dungeon
areas, I was left to just exploring randomly and hoping I found my way
through.
Apart from the efforts
of Valve, Fatshark and Rebellion, the only co-op survival shooters we could think
of in the Left 4 Dead style were Payday 1 & 2 from Starbreeze and Killing Floor 1 & 2 from Tripwire - and both
of those are more based in a single
area rather than moving
through a
map.
The Rail Car part in Dead Space where you fight that creature that goes
through the vents (I Heart You Stasis) The opening
area in the 1st Silent Hill Underwater level in Tomb Raider 2 R.C.P.D Nosgoth (omg best music in a game ever) The infamous Search and Destroy room in KZ2 on the
map that is reminiscent
of the level where you fight the first huge helghast with the tanks on his back.

HMs are moves that you must have to progress
through certain
areas of the
map.
Whole sections
of the
map are locked behind easy - to - miss destructible walls, and one
of its three possible endings can be achieved without even dipping a toe into most
of the game's optional
areas — my favorite
area of which is called the White Palace, where Hollow Knight basically transforms into Super Meat Boy with a long series
of increasingly difficult platforming sections
through mazes
of spinning saw blades.
Sure, you'll learn the
maps and gain a greater understanding
of how to traverse the
area, but after going
through the same place 6 or 7 times you'll very quickly become bored
of it.
The number one thing that annoys me the most about this game above all else though, is the meaningless backtracking without getting any kind
of reward from it all, and just to top it all off, you'll end up going
through various different
areas of the field
map, which are all surrounded by monsters, you finish the mission that you set out for, sit
through a long cut - scene, but guess what happens next?
The second part
of the tutorial focuses on battle arenas in which you must drive
through 4 marked
areas on the
map, then utilise your police vehicle's equipped shotgun to destroy 5 evading enemy vehicles that will not fire back; followed by looking at the weapon loadout and abilities available for your vehicle before charging up your vehicle's ultimate ability and using it on enemies.
Uncover wacky power - ups, navigate
through completely destructible environments, or burrow into different
areas of the
map for surprise attacks.
As you progress
through each
of the levels which are well laid out thanks to a great
map based world design you will encounter many
areas that require certain characters in order to progress.
While
maps do feel quite big, the increased movement speed
through paint trails makes it fun with a lot
of cover positions when defending your
area.
As you play
through the game a section
of the
map will be rumoured to bear an abandoned car, with the specific
area highlighted on your
map.
In fact, I left the speed
of the game at two - times since the beginning, and would bump it up to four - times the speed every single time I had to run clear across the
map or
through multiple gigantic
areas.
Each
area contains its own patterns and styles, and while moving
through the world requires a great deal
of focusing on the mini
map, it's generally a fun world to explore.
Players flooded into The Division on day one to be greeted with a host
of errors and bugs ranging from Server Connectivity to getting stuck in an
area or falling
through certain
maps.
