And they are busy caring for multiple people which makes it hard to devote time to reading
through birth plans which can sometimes take up multiple pages.
I got to talk
through my birth plan with several of them and gauge reactions to the things I wanted.

The difference with doing my LOVE YOUR
BIRTH childbirth education course is that you are guided by a professional
through your journey and are given the tools necessary for really preparing yourself for the unknowns of labor, childbirth and beyond as best that you can, and feel deeply positive about it - even embrace the unexpected, when things did not turn out as
planned.
But as I learned more
through my pregnancy, I became more aware of my options, and although I did give
birth in the hospital setting, I was blessed with great staff, a great doula, and an assigned nurse who was in fact completing her midwifery courses, so my
birth plan was well respected, and I'm proud to say I didn't need any medication!
But, going
through this process without pain medication is doable, and for many women it is the recommended
birth plan.
And the idea of just getting a c section because one does not want to go
through labour or to
plan the baby's
birth date is on the rise, known as «too posh to push».
A
birth plan will outline what you hope to happen during your birthing experience like who you want in the room with you, what kind of props you desire to help you
through the contractions (such as music to listen to or pictures to look at), what kind of pain medications you may want to take to ease your labor pain, and the overall mood you hope to achieve in your birthing room.
We love supporting people find their own path
through birth and parenting, so we weren't at all offended that this previous client and her husband chose a different
plan for this
birth.

planned C - section — meaning no labor has occurred — mother's milk is found to contain less healthy flora to pass to her newborn.
My
birth plan specified that my husband and I would work

birth together.
The first day after giving

plan to breastfeed or not, your breasts will go
through changes.
Both before AND after your adoption

through, you get one - on - one counseling from a licensed therapist, and talk with other

birth and unplanned, the baby came really quickly, usually, they'll still allow us to write a letter because we had been you know, we have knowledge of the family and we were providing care all
through the pregnancy so we knew this mom and we took care of her immediately after the
birth, but if that's not the case and a family just has an unassisted
birth, they definitely need two people who witness the
birth to go with them or a letter from someone who witnesses the
birth.
We had worried that our
birth plan would be ignored because of the induction, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that everyone was supportive and helped us carry
through with that
plan once labor started.
When I offered, Jordan and Jamison were very open to learning about Attachment Parenting and allowed me to help them navigate
through the myriad options, such as finding supportive childbirth classes, creating a
birth plan, attending La Leche League meetings and creating a safe sleep environment ahead of time.
Although having to go

birth), don't be afraid to pump and let someone else give the baby a bottle of your milk when you need to sleep, hold off on introducing baby food until much closer to 1 year old than 6 ohtnms, and be prepared for it to be hard and possibly painful at first (think cracked, bleeding nipples and breasts that are so full of milk you think they will explode so also have lanolin and / or nipple cream in the house, and nurse or pump well before you let yourself become engorged and in pain).
After getting
through 9 months of pregnancy, making
birth plans, and getting all the preparation for baby done, contractions happen.
It's best to keep your
birth plan short and sweet, and to really think
through a few key questions which will help you communicate your wishes.
We breathed another sigh of relief, having been expecting to have to watch the hospital staff like hawks lest they follow
through on their routine protocols before reading or remembering our
birth plan.
