In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest for Super Nintendo and Donkey Kong Land 2 for the Game Boy, Rambi aids Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong in their adventure to save Donkey Kong from Kaptain K. Rool, and is given the ability to perform a Supercharge, which can be used to smash
through doors and walls to uncover
hidden bonuses.
As has become standard for the series, sweeping
through each level will see you hoarding Banana Coins whilst hunting out KONG letters, Puzzle Pieces, and
hidden bonus stages scattered throughout.
Once you've worked your way
through the primary story contracts there are
bonus contracts to play
through, too, although you first have to find them
hidden away in the story mode.
As in all LEGO games the story levels are filled with
hidden bonus items to find that aren't necessary to complete the level, some of which will require the special skills of characters that aren't available on the first play
through giving completionists motivation to replay the story levels and extending the life of the game.
A more game play friendly way to earn some cash however is to find the
hidden bonus levels scattered
through the game.

through several urban environments by swinging around flagpoles, grinding ledges, and flying over traffic
You'll investigate crime scenes, unravel a mystery, and also unlock

Hidden through each sector are collectable helices, which will unlock a
bonus stage in said sector.
As you play
through each stage, there are
hidden artifacts to find that unlock extra concept art to view in the
bonus menu.
You can madly dash
through the game as fast as you want, but by doing so you risk missing out on all the
hidden bonus goodies!
If none of that takes my fancy, I could drive as fast as possible
through a speed trap, set a distance record off a stunt jump, go looking for a classic car
hidden in an abandoned barn, smash
bonus boards for XP, or challenge any of the AI racers populating my open world to an ad - hoc head - to - head race.
Advancing
through the Story Mode from island to island and unlocking
bonus levels requires locating
hidden Sun Stones.
So, with all that said, here's what you get with Sonic Rush: fourteen medium - length linear 2D Sonic the Hedgehog levels full of loops and ramps, seven 3Desque boss encounters, two playable characters that play identically to one another and traverse the exact same path
through the exact same levels, a time attack mode, seven
bonus stages in the style of Sonic the Hedgehog 2's
bonus half - pipe, and one final
hidden level if all seven emeralds are collected.
If you're actually skilled enough to play
through the game multiple times to find the
hidden bonus coins, and on harder difficulty levels, you can unlock Hotsuma's brother (and nemesis) Moritsune as a playable character.
