I have learned a lot about
blogging in the past year, and am going
through all my old
posts and updating them.
What I am actually doing is
blogging through my seminary notes, and then questioning and challenging what I was taught in a way that I was not able to do during seminary (see the introductory
post here).
About midway
through last year, it suddenly dawned on me that it's not my job to generated seven days of content for readers all on my own, but that, in addition to
posting my own thoughts, I can use my
blogging platform to feature news stories, links, interviews, discussions, guest
posts, and videos that would be of interest to you!
When I click
through posts and photos from my first year of
blogging, I cringe... yikes... it's pretty bad.
For this
post, I am grateful for the vegan
blogging community I've met
through this blog and how much I've learned about vegan cooking and baking since starting this blog.

I'm glad you found confidence
through blogging I have had a blog for a while, focusing on travel, but only recently have I gotten the courage to include fashion
posts as well in the past month.
My husband suggested that I start the week off each week
blogging about what God has been doing or showing me and sharing scripture, etc so as to begin the habit of sharing and promoting God

post of the week or first fruits until I can come to a place of sharing about God almost daily.

While I plan a special
post soon to reflect on my first eight years of
blogging, I do want to pause for a moment to say I'm just so grateful first and foremost to you, my readers, for bringing such joy and growth to my life
through this experience.
Blogging wasn't about
posting pretty pictures or projects, it was simply about sharing the experience of creating a home and going
through life one blog
post at a time (with nearly eight years of updates, that's a lot of
posts!)
