lifetimes of many greenhouse gases and
thus alter the climate forcing of anthropogenic emissions:
Thus their
atmospheric destruction rate is slow, which means HFCs and PFCs can have very long
atmospheric lifetimes, of the order of thousands of years for PFCs.
