The fundamental reason for the anxiety seems to be the feeling that medicine may attempt to
thwart God's purposes.
In the Bible, God fails to anticipate the behavior of his creation, people
thwart God all the time, God can't even get people to respect Him / Her.
Any agenda other than that is a human creation and is likely to have elements of the demonic underneath it with a goal to
thwart God's purposes and to create dissension in the body of Christ.
If anything can
thwart God's will, natural or supernatural, than the basics of what He has revealed about Himself are misunderstood or misrepresented in Scripture.
I believe that Israel still has a part in God's plan, that God has not rejected His people, and that Satan is still attempting to destroy the Israelite nation in order to
thwart God's plan.
Trust that God, in His sovereignty, can even bring good from your mistakes, and that your mistakes never

God's response to prayers consonant with the divine will - can be and sometimes is
thwarted by the recalcitrance of non divine actualities, whether persons or cancer cells.
To exercise such responsible parenthood with regard to the birth as well as the rearing of children is not to

God but to be responsive to them.
