so no chance for a paddle on Kuta Reef or Airports but Middle Reef was peeling off some clean as you like head to well over head high set
waves.
It's unreal, and
so are the
waves, but if you're lucky enough to land there, make sure you keep aware of the
tide and don't get caught out.
The
tide was still running in for a 10.30 AM 2.4 mtr High
so the best
waves were found down at Temple's and on the Main Peak sections.
The
tide had just gone past the middle mark of the run in
so there were
waves and surfers on all 3 of the main sections.
So there's a lot of
wave options happening out there this morning with the
tide just passing through the top now at 8.45 AM.
The
tide was still pretty low
so no go on Kuta Reef or Airports, but Middle Reef was smoking through some nice shaped head to over head high set
waves.
As the
tide was pushing in
so did a few bigger
waves pushing the size into the chest to slightly over head class.
The
tide was running out
so the sandbar was producing the best
waves and had around 20 surfers on it.
As the
tide kept creeping in
so did
wave height keep getting bigger.
The

tide was still running out for 1.0 mtr Low around 9.00 AM
so Middle Reef had the better and bigger
waves, as it usually does.
By the time the Tradewind did kick in (pretty well straight into the 20kms + range) the
tide was peaking and not looking any good on the Outer Reefs
so we took a spin up along the many beach breaks of Kuta and Legian and found a few fun
waves between the close out sets.

so head high to double overhead sells hitting the entire section of reef.Nice morning

so after our 6.30 am surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing
wave height breaking in the 1 - 2ft + sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left with the
tide rising and the wind light out of the North we knew where we we had to go to find the right
