Last night (9th May) we attended the 2016 Free From
Food Awards Ireland, a lovely black -
tie gala
event at the historic Mansion House in Dublin.
IRRI's early collaboration with the
Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) dates back to
events tied to the International Rice Year in 1966.
The sold - out black -
tie event, featuring a New York taste room to sample
food and drink products, is sponsored by the New York State Society, a nonprofit that promotes the state in the nation's capital.

event, which included Mauritian drinks and
food, was
tied to the country's 50th Independence Day celebrations, also marking 26 years since the Island became a Republic.
