The dogs were trained by University of Washington's Center for Conservation Biology and were tasked with sniffing out
tiger scat, which was then studied by scientists to learn more about the dwindling tiger population in the Greater Mekong region of Southeast Asia.
They bagged 58 samples of
tiger scat and hustled these to the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bangalore.
