tight pelvic floor muscles and a lot of time to think about how travelling can affect your pelvic health.
It's impossible to truly inhale deeply with
a tight pelvic floor, so the first goal is to establish a deep breathing pattern.

More tightening is not often the best first line of treatment for someone with

Pelvic floor dysfunctions can be caused by weak pelvic floor muscles OR
tight pelvic floor muscles.
A tight pelvic floor is far more common than people realize.
Some women have
tight pelvic floor muscles to begin with (from birth, scar tissue, other factors) and if a muscle is tight to begin with, then you must first do what I call the «Reverse Kegel» to release and let go, to allow the vaginal muscles to regain its normal function, suppleness and flexibility.
However, when performed by already hypertonic muscles, Kegels can lead to an even
tighter pelvic floor and cause more serious problems to occur throughout the body.

pelvic floor overwork and subsequently become
tight.

We know that if the

pelvic floor muscles can become weak or
tight and even have painful trigger points and areas of spasm.
