now I wear the classic shapes, like full
skirted shirt dresses, but I wear trendy accessories and colored
tights and ridiculously fun shoes to top it off.
I am
now inspired to pair sheer black
tights with a light colored
skirt.
These pieces are totally wearable
now & will be ideal for colder temperatures too (try opaque
tights under the shorts /
skirt & throw a jacket or blazer on over the tee / sweater).
Now of course, you can be more creative and mix prints in your
skirts and
tights, or even include your shoes.
I've worn it as a dress, top, and
skirt and could see mixing up the pieces I've paired with it (adding
tights and a jean jacket or fur vest with the dress
now that it is getting colder).

Those who read my blog for some time
now might have noticed, that I'm definitely not a fan of wide décolletés, short
tight skirts or any other kind of provocative looks.
For me these alternatives are things like switching jeans for cigarette trousers, swapping my standard knitted jumper for a silk blouse and sophisticated neckerchief (which also doubles up as a super cosy scarf too), mixing a chic
skirt and thick
tights into the mix every
now and then (I love this one), throwing in a jumper dress for good measure (almost as good as PJ's I assure you) and finally, mixing and matching my outerwear to keep it fresh.
I also like the look of these boots with
tights and
skirts right
now, but I like the sleeker, less clunky pairs (not the thick sole of the Dr. Martens).
I have been super slouchy lately too but
now I am really into the idea of pairing slouchy knits with a
tight pencil
skirt or something like that..
Now, I'm all too aware that this
skirt might just be a tad too short and too
tight to wear on a normal day of classes, so let's pretend I was about to have some drinks with my friends.
