since the central bank began its
tightening cycle in December 2015.

tightening cycle in June 2004, the federal funds rate has been increased from 1.0 per cent to 2.5 per cent in increments of 25 basis points at each Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand raised its target rate by 25 basis points to 6.75 per cent in March, taking the cumulative increase
