I went with white subway
tile in my kitchen too.
I mentioned it in an earlier post that I was choosing my tile at the same time that we organized this beautiful home and it inspired me to wrap an the entire wall with
tile in my kitchen too.
Not exact matches
Old Ochre was perfect — not
too bright and the color coordinated really well with the
tile colors
in the
kitchen.
I also really wanted a little bit more updated beachy look to my
kitchen and while marble is absolutely gorgeous, I felt like maybe it was a bit
too traditional classic
in style when paired with my subway
tile.
We have a bay window
in out
kitchen and I have put a crate mat down on the
tiles so that Fudge and Ziggy can nap
in the sun and watch what's going on outside,
too.

I wish I had the nerve to do
tile in our
kitchen but I change my mind
too often.
To avoid looking
too «new,» the
kitchen backsplash was
tiled in three different shades for a rich, layered effect.
I almost installed the same
tile in our new basement bathroom 3 years ago, HomeDepot had the
tile here at our store, I loved the
tile, but my husband didn't like it.So what do you do.I got another
tile that he liked.I know that once you get everything the way it should be you will love your

Because that sink wall runs all the way across through to the family room, once we saw the
tile going up we felt like we needed to connect the walls rather than divide them
too much with
tile just
in the
kitchen.

In my home
kitchen, the bottom half of the walls are medium - size
tiles, so it would be
too expensive to remove them.
We used 3X6 subway
tiles in our
kitchen (
in our bathroom
too!)
It's Luxury vinyl
tile We used it
in our last
kitchen & loved it so much — we used it
in this house
too!
When I first saw the film, I
too was dazzled at all the little touches — the pendant chandelier, the odd, earth - tone colors, sparkling
kitchen tiles and the «red oak» floors (actually a substitute for a vulgar phrase,
in answer to the neighbor's inquiry, that they decided not to have Brad say, so they could put it elsewhere — watch the DVD commentary).
