Hello I just want you to know that I
really have enjoyed your
blogg for a long
time, I am living just outside Oslo in Norway with my husbound and two kids age 8 and 11.
With the big upcoming move, The Hubby busy with a new job, and me trying to get a house ready to put on the market, maintaining some semblance of order while the house is actually on the market without actually evicting my little boys during this period, packing years worth of crap, and keeping up the
blogging gig, I
really need some kid - free
time to have a fighting chance of getting it all accomplished without completely losing my mind or sacrificing sleep entirely.
In five years of
blogging, this is my first
time posting on a Saturday night, I just
really wanted to get this up for you in
time for the seconds days of the Chag!
The last couple of weeks I didn't
really get to
blogging, mostly because I just didn't have the
time, due to University, being sick and other things that just piled up.
Last week I worked like 70 hours... aka no
time for
blogging, meaning nothing
really to post for this week.
I needed that
time off from the blog to
really figure out some personal things in my life but I missed
blogging way too much.
At
times I
really felt my passion of
blogging reduced to a career so cheesy that I questioned its future.
It seems a lot of us all started
blogging for similar reasons and then
time passes by
really quickly!
I've been
blogging here for so long (1,300 + posts, starting in May, 2010) that I can't even wrap my head around all the topics we've managed to discuss in that
time, and it's
really hard to get the big picture by looking at the «back end» of a WordPress blog.
You might find it interesting to know that about 3
times a week I'm filled with the hope that hey, maybe this is the week I'll
really jump into
blogging again!
I have taken
time off of
blogging to spend with my boys and it has
really helped our relationship.
Since I quit
blogging so much, I have
really spent a lot of
time in artistic pursuits.
As I (and secretly Daddy B) was watching this past week's episode I noticed the baby nurse giving Bethenny a Blue Moon, no this is not an advertisement but I do
really enjoy a good Blue Moon, I did a double take and quickly said to Daddy B, who was
blogging on his own blog at the
time, «You HAVE to look that up, right now!»
And if I do the math, that means I haven't
blogged in a
really,
really long
time.
That being said, affordable fashion has become something we have gotten
really good at during our
time fashion
blogging on TCP and we are excited to share our knowledge with you in the name of the pop of red trend!
Some
times it
really is astounding to me since I have
blogging for years now.
It's been
really interesting to grow and evolve as we started at such similar
times — I'm
really looking forward to seeing what's next for you & it goes without saying but if you ever need anything or want to talk / vent
blogging, I'm here!

I thought it was
time for a little more personal update, since my
blogging was kind of
really lame last month — especially when it comes to outfit posts!
I am so honored to be a part of this as I have known Tiffany for over a year or more now and while we have collaborated several
times in the past and even monthly she
really is one of those ladies that we Facebook message each other constantly, whether from asking each other
blogging questions to «ugh what a day in parenting» rants (haha).
When I first started
blogging, I felt like I needed to get better at doing my makeup and hair, and look pulled together and coifed 100 % of the
time like so many bloggers do, but it never
really happened.
Since I started my business in the realm of
blogging, writing, and social media marketing, I have
really come to know the importance of acting and exhibiting integrity, honesty, and credibility at all
times.
I gave myself the «week off» and allowed some
time to not thinking about
blogging, and to
really think about
blogging.
I am
really loving
blogging and taking photographs right now so I am hoping with this
time home I will have
time to focus on that.
All this advice is spot on and anyone who is thinking about
blogging full
time should
really listen.
Time really flies and I have been
blogging on this little space for about 10 months.
I completely understand needing
time away from
blogging,
really I do.
I have not
really realized since
blogging what great pieces I have in my closet in which I utilize all the
time.
Erin needs to take a break from
blogging, but she picked a
really appropriate artwork for her final
time curating SIA.
I have no doubts I will be back to
blogging, maybe even sooner rather than later, but for right now I am gong to take a step back, soak up every moment, and stop worrying about «likes» and prime posting
times, put down the screens and
really live my life to the absolute fullest.
As I was glancing through Pinterest tonight at my old posts, and after meeting with some other blog moms today I couldn't help but recall how
time consuming
blogging really was.

I took some much needed
time off from
blogging and social media from Friday - Monday to spend some quality
time with my parents and my husband, because I think being with family is what the holiday is
really about, right?
I just
really haven't worn it that much (it actually hasn't been worn since the last
time I
blogged it nearly two years ago!).
When I started, I knew that
blogging would take up a lot of
time, but I didn't realize how much
time it would
really take and how you actually use your
time.
Working full
time,
blogging, starting to plan a wedding, and still trying to have a life,
really caught up with me; resulting in a total breakdown.
As much as I enjoyed coming home and not working for several more hours, when you
really find something you love doing (
blogging, social media, digital influencing), it hurts to take
time off even when you know you need it.
At the
time, I just had too much going on and knew that if I wanted to
really pursue this
blogging thing, then the jewelry would have to wait.
I've been
blogging for more than six years, although I only
really got my shit together a couple of years ago and started using social media properly, so it feels like the collaborations have been a long
time coming.
