Your time as a reviewer is precious — and let me say your efforts are enormously appreciated by readers and authors alike.
Most people who are going to buy it have spent as much
time as the reviewers and have already decided if they like it or not.
Since I've spent
time as a reviewer and on a number of panels for various agencies that provide some of the input into those decisions, I thought it might be interesting to discuss some of the real issues that arise and the real tensions that exist in this process.
Not exact matches

as the
timing makes sense, and you are thanked for your comments in the acknowledgments along with two others (presumably also
reviewers).
The New York
Times assigned
as a
reviewer Reinhold Niebuhr, without a doubt the most famous theologian in America at the
time.
I liked having the vegetables in the same pan
as the fish for a short amount of
time (versus the other
reviewers who cooked separately for longer).
Next
time I will only add half a bottle of BBQ sauce to the crockpot, then add the remainder after I shred it
as some other
reviewer...
I followed the recipe exactly (unusual for me) except that I increased the cooking
time for the chicken,
as suggested by the other
reviewers.
Baking
time,
as other
reviewers mentioned is definitely closer to 35 minutes.
Same
as another
reviewer who gave it top marks, this is my first
time in using powdered vanilla.
I have made this a few
times, most recently
as mini-cupcakes like the earlier
reviewer.
I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs (all the grocery store had on hand at the
time), skipped the wood chips (
as some other
reviewers have suggested), and we put heavy duty foil down on the grill but lit the burners directly underneath (took about 20 minutes total cook
time, turning and basting with syrup every 5 minutes).
Remember to increase baking
time if you increase the amount of liquid
as suggested by other
reviewers.
I agree with other
reviewers, you definitely need to watch your cook
time,
as well
as add extra lemon zest.
Also
as other
reviewers have mentioned, the baking
time in the recipe seems to be incorrect - I baked two 9 inch rounds for 35 - 38 minutes, and they were perfect.
As another
reviewer suggested, I would decrease the cooking
time slightly.
