Director Larry Charles may have had to
cut some precious
time from folks like Kevin Corrigan, Chris Parnell and J.B. Smoove (who does show up
during the credits in the blooper reel / extra
scenes bit) but it's to the benefit of the movie, which gets in and out in the perfect amount of
time (it should be noted B.J. Novak who was cast is nowhere to be seen; also, don't let anyone spoil the cameos for you).
The movie, directed by yet another Key & Peele alum, Peter Atencio, is at its best
during action
scenes, or any
time the camera
cuts to Keanu...
Paradoxically, right after that we see a nasty string of toilets explode before
cutting to a
scene with Helen Mirren's Victoria
during which she beats the crap out of someone because he doesn't know who she is and then blames it on her being «before his
time.»
Tarantino keeps a steady, reserved hand
during these
scenes, more than happy to let them play out over a series of static takes, keeping the score out of the picture and the
cuts to a minimum (there actually isn't all that much Morricone from a percentage of run
time perspective, but good lord does he make it count), placing his full trust into his peerless ensemble to do the majority of the heavy lifting.
Both tablets were first introduced

time, both Nooks have become a lot more relevant thanks to the price

Characters
during cut scenes have extremely impressive facial features up close as well, which goes to say that Unity can be quite a looker at
times... but at what cost?
What's great is also that, from
time to
time, your character speaks
during certain
cut scenes which, in this era of silent shooter protagonists, is quite refreshing.
The worst I saw was
during one of the
cut scenes the audio was un-synchronized from the video but it only happened the one
time.
Vision Scape had signed a non disclosure agreement with SEGA
during their
time working on the Sonic Heroes
cut -
scenes that said that any material they pitched to the company would become an intellectual property of SEGA, so sadly McDonald can't legally press charges against SEGA.
The sound
during cut scenes is even worse; my speakers were buzzing every
time a character spoke.
