Thankfully Cameron was game to follow us to all our favorite spots on the island to shoot several rounds of engagement photos to make sure we had more than enough for our save - the - dates, the Style Me Pretty post, and of course to keep as a memento of this special time in our lives!

With all the busy - ness I did get some time in to shop at my favorite stores (Marshalls, Target and TJ Maxx) and scored some much needed items for spring (more of those added items in the near future) as well as this lovely outfit shoot.

The volume of the pleats in the coat, its super slim waist, a 1970's inspired printed MAXI - skirt — captioning maxi since this skirt was so long I had to wear it with literally the highest heels I own, and roll it up one time around my waist, don't tell anyone — a statement bag of dreams, and the most unusual combination of pieces altogether, to me at least, made is a dream to shoot it.

Our shoot at the sunflower farm was an all - time favorite of mine.

That's my favorite time to shoot.

My favorite times to shoot are the morning when the light is soft and the crowds aren't out, or the golden hour just before the sun begins to set.

We had such a fun time shooting this Fourth of July look together with our favorite photographer Shan.

It looks like this week will be the last real shot of winter for me so I hope to get to wear my favorite outfits one last time this weekend in DC!
