The fall time is such as great time for decorating as almost all fall decor lends itself to warm, welcoming feelings.

A few years ago I found myself stressing over how I was going to change up my decor for summer and fall and then I realized that it doesn't have to be all these drastic changes, and I don't have to take time away from my family to do it.

I'm not much into fall decorating, but one of my blogs and website is about making chocolate bouquets, so I just bought a TON of candy and fall colored dishes in different shapes and sizes to make some candy arrangements, so those will sit around for a few days after I make them, and they will only last a fall decor for a small amount of time.

Waaaayyyy back in September when I began to plan out how I wanted to decorate my mantel for Fall, I realized that I could save myself a lot of time and energy if I would take an intentional and strategic approach so that I could easily transition the decor into the next season.

The inpsiration for the entire color palatte came from a rustic woven kilim pillow I found on sale at Pottery Barn several weeks ago, since blue and white is my all - time favorite color combination, I am always looking for new ways to incorporate blue in my seasonal decor, and have never thought much of using blues for fall, but this pillow pulled all the colors together so well!
