bedtime routine is important
for kids; a relaxing warm bath, soft lights and music, and a nice book can all be part of a nightly ritual that signals to
kids that it's
time to wind down and relax and will send

We have a very solid
bedtime routine every night, we read 7 - 10 board books and then sing Piano Man (I know, not suited
for kids but it was the only song my husband and I both knew the lyrics to at the
time) and we put them down awake so they can settle themselves.
I work 50 + hrs a week at the best job I'm capable of doing, do as many odd jobs
for cash as I can find, barely see my
kids other than just in
time for bedtime, and $ 0.60 out of every dollar I earn goes to daycare.
