On top of the campaign you also have 2 other single - player
modes, Stronghold and Progressive in Stronghold you have to defend and injured GI against enemy Norts for a specific amount of
time, personally, I didn't really enjoy this
mode, it
seemed rather boring compared to the rest of the game.
I personally didn't spend a lot of
time in this
mode but from what I experienced it
seemed fun and a great idea especially if you have a younger player who wants to tag along for the experience.
The overall combat is better, the story
mode is even better than the one in Injustice and the online play
seems much more stable this
time.
Sure, the more familiar genres allow them to use phrases and descriptions that
seem like they're getting at the core challenges and dynamics, but many
times they really don't understand the gameplay enough to offer any insight beyond «I had some options and I used them however I wanted because I didn't play on a hard enough
mode therefore I think I'm being creative.»
It
seems this game will be content complete around this
time next year by the sounds of their release schedule for future
modes and updates.
It
seems at
times that we are nudged (or outright pushed) towards the co-op
mode just to beat a level that surely is stacked against us... because we were absolutely on point with every move.
I thoroughly enjoyed the
mode for a
time, but it
seems players have opted for a camping strategy with sniper rifles which has soured my opinion on the
mode.
There is a league
mode also, but not one that I've personally taken the
time to dive in at great depth as it
seems more for the long - term and more active players.
