On that note, I wanted to pop in today to share the super exciting news that two long -
time blogging friends of mine, sisters Heather Patterson and Vanessa Hunt, have written a book called Life In Season.

time has worn on, and I've made a few more
blogging friends, Carla and I remain close.
Anyway as you may already be aware, I participated in this challenge alongside some of my other
blogging friends and now it's
time for you to vote for your favorite recipe on the Just BARE Facebook page.
There have been several
times when I've wondered why I'm even doing this whole ding - dang thing, if it's even worth it, getting ready to throw in the towel — but then I remember my readers, my
blogging friends, the food blog community, all of you who inspire me.
My
friend Jenni of The Gingered Whisk — fellow Daring Baker, Sourdough Surpriser, and all around awesome lady — just recently had a baby girl, and back in the summer she asked me to write a guest post for her while she takes some
time off from
blogging to settle into life as a momma of two.
I started to get upset and panicky that these Strawberry Love Muffins will be late to my
blogging friends, and may not make it in
time for Valentine's Day.
Not only that, but in this
time of
blogging, I've met some truly amazing people who I can hand on my heart, call some of my closest
friends.
I wasn't
blogging, I wasn't working at the
time, I just had the most amazing group of
friends who also had babies the same age so I meet them weekly for playdates.
Much to my surprise, she and her
friend laughed it off and then we proceeded to have a great
time sipping coffee (or what was left of it) and chatting about
blogging stuff.
Times when if it hadn't have been for my lovely
blogging friends I wouldn't have had anyone else to turn to!

time to meet new

blogging about their political corruption, but that's just par for the course.

Despite the less - than - ideal weather, I am truly excited to head to California and spend
time with some of my closest
blogging friends on the campus of Google.
As some of my close
blogging friends know, I have considered shutting down my blog a
time or two.

But as we all know, that's not what the
blogging industry is about, I started to lose those connections I had with my readers, I missed blog chats & general twitter conversations with my
blogging friends, I lost out on instagram because I didn't spend
time engaging with people who were taking the
time to like or comment.
Between working full
time (outside of
blogging I have a full -
time job), being a mom / wife / daughter /
friend, and the holidays, I was just swamped and exhausted.
This
time we're celebrating the Two Year Blogiversaries of two of my good
blogging friends, Cindy of Little Miss Celebration, and Lisa of Cooking with Curls!
But yeah, you definitely have to calm down — this whole
blogging thing can be very hard If you don't take
time for yourself and your
friends..
I have taken a week off from
blogging to spend
time with family and
friends and now it is
time to get back into the swing of things.
Sit tight,
friends — it's
time for Trash to Treasure Tuesday with my
blogging girlfriends, where we share thrifted and yard sale items transformed.
I asked my
friends on Facebook for ideas and several of them wanted me to talk about how I balance
blogging, working, and volunteering with making
time for Chewie, Jason and my

blogging friends always is a highlight, I made this experience also several
times last year.
When I'm not
blogging I love spending
time with my husband and dogs, hanging with my wonderful
friends and family, and exploring new cities.

time in New York catching up is truly why I am headed back to the city that never sleeps this season.

But you don't always get to meet people every week since your life outside of
blogging gets in the way, so fashion week is best the
time to make new
