Why are you wasting your precious
time on earth posting on a forum to those who don't believe you no matter what you spew?
Not exact matches
Me, as a christian, and you, as an atheist; we disagree
on what happens after death, but i think (from the comments you've
posted) we share that
on our limited
time on earth we should do as much as we can to be respectful to one another.
In their view, the end of
times would be heralded by a cosmic visitor, the «son of man» who would cause the dead to rise bodily from their graves and live in a Utopian
post Apocalyptic kingdom here
on Earth.
2000
posts from people who believe Heaven is
on Earth... or don't believe... but spend all their
time and effort commenting
on something they don't care about.
One thing that drives me nuts is when women
post about their non-material-ness and how they're not high maintenance and are interested in a nice down to
Earth man who they can spend quality
time with even if it's «just cuddling
on the couch watching a movie» and all that other non-high-maintenance BS.
When I can't even find the
time to get dressed — how
on earth do you expect me to find
time for
post pregnancy exercise...???
This

time as well, because of the expansion and change in the GroVia product line, there will be some pretty good sales
on this diaper system, starting

So even if we pulled out from every last place
on earth, solved the Israeli - Palestinian conflict, and walked
on egg - shells until the end of
time, any random idiot
posting a Mohammed video
on YouTube would still give them all the justification they needed to shoot up an office or bring down an airliner.
I see the same guys in 6 - 7
times a week doing no warmup, no pre or
post workout cardio and usually start off with their stupid cable crossovers first thing (one of the most useless exercises
on earth).

The Washington
Post picked up
on the story, with education reporter Valerie Strauss classifying Perry as a «scorched -
earth» reformer at the
time.
All of us have pressed «publish» for the first
time wondering who
on earth - other than friends and family — is actually going to read this

I read a
post on one of the lists that I haunt, in which the poster touts the idea that
earth will be cooling for a few decades now, because the sun is wobbling off the barycenter and will be off by the maximum amount (about 2 solar radii) for some of that
time.

I did so for my Dot
Earth post on the day oil hit $ 100 a barrel for the first
time and found some great nuggets — including a piece from 1873
on how the «vapors of petroleum» around the country's first oil fields appeared to benefit asthmatics.
With music in mind, and reflecting
on the unrelenting gulf gusher, I've decided it's
time for my first musical Dot
Earth post.
Last year in an earlier
post on asteroid impacts, Mr. Schweickart mused
on an issue at the heart of Dot
Earth — how political systems, reflecting human nature, still seem to be having a hard
time integrating scientific understanding, uncertainties and all, in ways that result in policies and investments that could blunt risks while fostering prosperity.
As I have
posted before
on Dot
Earth, perhaps ten
times now, I believe that it can be shown (based
on the latest science and
on sound reasoning closely attached to that science) that:
As I've said here before, it's important to recognize that the vast majority of blog readers (at least
on Dot
Earth) never
post a comment — and I'd guess also don't spend much
time sifting them.
First: Months ago, as you know, a very creative and conscientious Dot Earthling (Anna Haynes) suggested in a Dot
Earth post that The New York
Times should do a survey / questionnaire of all members of Congress regarding their specific views
on global warming and potential ways to address global warming.
There's more
on the carbon cycle from the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory, NASA's
Earth Observatory and a Skeptical Science
post by Doug Mackie addressing claims that «CO2 has a short residence
time.»
Way back in July, Steven Earl Salmony, a frequent comment contributor and a blogger and psychologist from Chapel Hill, N.C.,
posted an invitation to Dot
Earth visitors to meet at the New York
Times office
on the first Monday in October, and sure enough, a small cluster of Dot Earthers did convene yesterday.
In a Dot
Earth post at the
time, I focused
on a fascinating case study from BP's gas fields in northern New Mexico, which showed that more careful use of the plunger systems can greatly cut gas loss (and thus methane emissions)-- and do so at a profit.
Posting «rejected» Arpa - E concept papers
on the
Times Dot
Earth blog is a terrific idea because it will give folks a chance to see some «transformative» energy ideas and in so doing provide an alternative to abstract speculation.
Andy Revkin ran a
post about the statement
on the New York
Times «Dot
Earth» blog, the responses to which constitute an epic online battle between some high - profile sceptics and warmers.
