I know this may be dumb or super obvious but i am a full
time SAHM and a full time law student so my brain does nt always function at full speed lol!
These two weeks spent back on the full -
time SAHM train (I started slowly returning to work when Cub was a year old, and he is now almost two) have been lonelier than I expected.
I always thought that I too would be a full -
time SAHM, but soon discovered that being able to also pursue my business was important to my own well being.
I'm a full
time sahm by choice, and while I do love it, I crave female adult conversation sometimes!
I've always known I couldn't personally hack it as a full -
time SAHM (I don't have the patience and energy required for such a demanding job, TBH), and being a WAHM allows me to feel connected to the outside world, and to feel a different form of success.»

time dream job and into the cold, harsh reality of sudden
SAHM life as I dealt with the loss of my professional identity and income.
Some Moms are cut out for the
SAHM thing but me I think I'm more of that WAHM but with a good balance of work and family
time!
If you're a
SAHM, even part -
time, you desire a bit of a break, and moms» night out, for us, is all about being happy - hour break for other moms (regardless of their sex at birth, regardless of their sexual orientation) who want the same sort of break too.
I had decided that 9 - months of
SAHM - ing was just the right
time to go back to grad school, and so was facing classes in the morning on no sleep at night.

Oh, don't conjure neglected kids in your mind, I am a
SAHM so being 24/7 with my kids is what I do but lately the blog has taken a decent chunk of that
time so I have not been able to do many of the outdoor activities I would have liked to.
In fact, just last month we wrote about a survey of 700 mothers — working and
SAHMs; regardless of «title,» a whopping 90 % of respondents were losing sleep over the exact same concerns (stressing over money, worrying about the kids, finding enough
time for their partner and managing the household).

I'm a
SAHM so there's a lot of flexibility at this point with only one in school full -
time.
Before I had kids I had no idea how there were so many parents, especially stay - at - home moms (
SAHMs), who struggle to squeeze in
time for a shower every day.

time and all she ever wants to do is eat.

SAHM of boy / girl twins and in order to save my own sanity (I NEED a little alone
time every day - I'm HUMAN) I had to get them on a schedule as fast as I possibly could.

SAHM mom IS a full
time job and is worth every moment.

time, I'm sick of hearing
SAHMs talk about how stressful their lives are all the

Now that I'm a
SAHM and he's not in daycare anymore, I decided it was
time to be serious about potty - training so that he'll be fully trained by the
time he goes back to school in a few months.

Then, if you are lucky enough to have savings to pay the bills and allow yourself
time to process that, you have to deal your kids another hard blow and tell them the
SAHM they had grown accustomed to expired along with the other parent.

SAHMs need a mother's helper especially when you don't have family close by... right now I don't but trust me it crosses my mind a lot more as he gets older and more mobile (now 8 1/2 months) so I can spend quality
time with my little one without worrying about cooking and cleaning!
When we spend most of our
time with children under 4 feet tall,
SAHMs do tend to talk in shorter sentences and have limited topics to talk about — we're not exactly spending our
time watching the latest news on CNN or sitting around memorizing the Oxford English Dictionary for fun.
Because I was a
SAHM / WAHM at the
time I had Jack Jack, I only got a few nursing tops.
Was a C.N.A. before son was born, now
SAHM and part
time college student, studying to become an English / Social Studies teacher.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I remember day -
time talk shows featuring contentious feuds between
SAHMs and moms who work!

Your lifestyle changes (single, married, preggo, post-partum, nursing,
SAHM, back to work, kids get older, etc etc etc), and your definition of cool also changes over
time.
A little about ME... I am in my 30's, Christian, a blessed
sahm / homemaker of an 8 year old and 6 year old, married to my first kiss and soulmate, 7
time half marathon finisher and thinking about a full marathon, cherry limeade addict, pinot noir lover, traveler, dreamer and believer, I could eat cheese, crackers and fruit for dinner every night and be happy, I love to read, gardening (except when I need to prune the roses!)
I suspect a lot of busy
SAHMs are downloading my books and then don't have
time to read as much as they had hoped.
