3 months is looked at per minimum it take more than six months for a bone to heal some very minor muscle will take 3 months a serious
injury which takes 8 months and more + rehabilitation while a player is rehabilitating other
injuries my form a direct result
of being constrained
where muscles freeze you are not playing for 8 months you cant expect the muscles to be up and running straight away players how ever want to play because
of all sort
of reasons one being replaced so it hampers with their full recovery hence having players regularly in the treating room but take it from me some
times you are perfect you just get back bang someone heavy dose your ankle in so you are back in out off playing
time I personally got very angry because my knee was ok so went back out to come back in after one game with ankle problem after a couple
of weeks i will go back out I have no guarantees that some one wouldn't go heavy on me or me injuring myself going heavy on someone else its football thats the way it is if it is not a medallion for the cabinet its a leg medallion
(4) the Groundhog Day effect — the inability to prepare for the inevitable slump that usually comes during or following the heavy holiday schedule in December / January... whether it's
injuries or Wenger's disdain for the January transfer window, which makes sense in light
of his disdain for spending, his philosophy for handling this situation has failed miserably... my question, once again, is how many
times can one person try the same failed strategy before making some sort
of fundamental changes... just think to yourself about our recent January dealings, especially in those years
where we were still in the race but in desperate need
of reinforcements, then try not to throw up a little in your mouth
He has to be given a lot
of credit for his willingness to return from
injury after so many setbacks, but there comes a
time where the manager will have to look at what's best for the club.
To name a few additional struggles: we have to compete with the richest league in the world
where every team has money and isn't begging for transfers
of their best players to fund themselves (8/20
of the highest valued teams), we have a poor
injury record that is being addressed, we have far fewer homegrown talents in our league, the overall league quality is higher even if the highest teams are not
of the quality
of other top teams, selling
of our best players during the past decade has lead to a lack
of momentum and yes, there has been
times where our manager got it wrong.
I was never in the «this was a terrible trade» camp; to me, he was acquired at a
time where injuries were affecting our overall depth, so Fehr was more
of just another body to me, but man, I was not expecting THIS out
of the guy.
Gibbs has been injured on average 2
times a season since playing in the first team regularly for us from 2009, all
of which (bar 2
injuries in 2011/2012 which made him miss 17 & 11 games respectively) have been very minor
where he has missed at most a handful
of games.
This
injury curse scares me, no matter how much depth we have, this
injuries just seem to attack one area
of specialty at a
time, for instance, some
time last season we had a period
where almost all
of our midfielders were injured (santi, coq, arteta, wilshere, ramsey, rosicky) all at the same
time.
I think one big difference this season is usually we suffer with a lot
of players getting injured at the later stage
of the season like Santi,
where as this
time we'll have players coming back from
injury, any new players wenger brings in (if he does) wenger knows best.
Chelsea have nothing like that; guess they are hoping for a completely
injury free season again
where people exclaim they are in crisis whenever they are missing a maximum
of two players at one
time (Costa and Fabregas).
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality
where players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong
times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when
injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player
of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many
times since arriving and that the players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield,
where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the
injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at
times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Am i dreaming it seems like we've been here before, oh yeah thats right it happened last season and the season before that... Oh wait guys but there is hope, if i remember corectly all we have to do is wait for any serious potential threats to us retaining the Fa cup for a third
time to get eliminated by lower league opponents or
of course eliminate themselves by not taking this competition too seriously by fielding their second team and laugh our way to the final
where we'll probably beat a sub par premier league team and repeat it all over again next year you know when Wenger fails to address the squad depth, the
injuries mount up and are out
of the champions league and title run ins by march..
Finally, and to reiterate an earlier point, the way forward for this club is to stop paying below average bench players so much money and to focus the bulk
of the weekly wages on establishing a dominant starting 11... this will require the club to eat some wages in order to ship some players out, get rid
of any deadwood over the age
of 21, develop a cutting edge scouting service and put your money
where your mouth is for once... I would much rather have a starting 11 that was world - class and give some reasonably paid young blue - chippers playing
time when
injuries occur than have 2 or 3 world class players surrounded by a plethora
of overpaid and underwhelming players... management would no longer be able to sell their half - baked plans to the fans under the guise
of «winning now», which any intelligent fan knows is a crap - shoot at best, and instead create a a squad that provides hope for the present and the future... this is exactly the model that has been used by Barcelona, Real & Bayern, so it should be good enough for us... by the way, until Messi & Ronaldo re-signed just recently all 3 clubs weekly wages were on par with ours... think about that for a second or two
just so you guys know, 60 %
of the
time when players get injured is because
of fatigue
where the brain stops sending support to the joints in the body causing
injuries ranging from knee / ankles / feet you name it.
Mertesacker on that right is slow as hell, Debuchey I don't know
where he was all game, Ozil was just floating around not looking bothered, the guy has all the
time to measure his cross, in the middle we had a half hearted Kossy who was winded and wounded and did not want to aggravate his head
injury, so he just jumped for the sake
of jumping just to show that he tried heading that ball away, but it was a mental thing, he had just had a head
injury so he was not going to use his head to header that ball..
Of course Arsene Wenger would have liked to be in the position where he had full control of when and for how long he would rest our star striker Alexis Sanchez, but to be fair the boss had mentioned it more than a few times and if the squad had not been so ravaged with injury problems he would probably already have given the Chile international a well earned res

of those games we were comfy yet not once did ozil sanchez or caz get subbed until after like the 88 / 89 min, then wenger talks about burnout lol

& Parker under immense pressure & to make matters worse Harry subs VDV., for the last couple
of games (modric) hasn't contributed anything
of note, maybe he is more concerned
where his going next season. In hindsight Harry must get his

time.

of injury; and a coach lacked enough experience to provide adequate supervision to avoid
