Hotel
porters are one exception to the no -
tipping rule, as they usually receive a couple of dollars for lugging bags.

porters.

porters carry 6 kg of your luggage.
Traditionally on the Inca trail, we have a thanking ceremony for all of the hard work the
porters and cooks have put in, and if you want, you can leave a
tip for them at this time.

porter tips, and 3) There is less risk of losing your bags.
