At the end of every
day, when Mom lays her
tired head down to rest, she may often
play a highlight real in her head of all the mistakes she made
during the previous hours before finally calling it a night.
Let your child
play active games
during the
day and quiet games in the evening; this will prevent your baby from getting too excited right before bedtime but
tired from the
day's activities.

A little puppy can stay in his crate a lot longer than this in the middle of the night, but
during the
day you should
play and walk with her, wait until she is
tired, put her in the crate to sleep, and then take her out as soon as she wakes up.
During the first week,
play every
day for a short time, but don't
tire your pug out.
She settled beautifully
during the lectures, enjoyed the labs (until she was too
tired on
day three and decided to nap instead), and
played with her friend Esme in our hotel room.
