Today at E3, we announced Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare, a full DLC expansion coming to Xbox Play Anywhere

Announced at E3 last year, Halo Wars 2 is the sequel to real - time strategy veterans Ensemble Studios's (Developers of classics like Age of Empires and its spinoff Age of Mythology) own console RTS
title Halo Wars, released in 2009.
He further emphasized E3 «was a pretty awesome celebration of the next chapter in the Halo Wars 2 experience — a brand new expansion succinctly
titled Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare.»

Microsoft has quite a few announcements in store for E3 2015, including Gears of
War 4, a few
titles from Rare, which could include new iterations of Banjo Kazooie and Battletoads, some gameplay footage for
Halo 5 and Rise of the Tomb Raider and a few other surprises.
Xbox has been a little quieter with various
titles delayed until early 2018 (Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves) and other exclusives not quite achieving the level we would like (
Halo Wars 2).
Games like Forza Motorsport 7, Gears of
War 4, and Wolfenstein II look stunning and even older catalogue
titles like
Halo 5 and Quantum Break show significant improvements.
I recently reviewed
Halo Wars 2 so I'll spend a lot of time comparing the two
titles here.
There are a ton of
titles expected in 2016, but not yet dated, including the likes of Doom, Crackdown 3,

Certainly not accessibility, which is part of why it was so surprising to see the developer attached to the largely console - focused, mainstream strategy

As someone unfamiliar with the original spin - off RTS
title, I found
Halo Wars 2 accessible for both newcomers and fans.
Granuite that it didn't have Devil May Cry or God of
war or
Halo, but it had its fair share of great
titles.
Despite these setbacks,
Halo Wars 2 is an Xbox Play Anywhere
title, meaning one digital purchase unlocks the game across both PC and Xbox One.
Halo 5: Guardians is available on Xbox One;
Halo Wars 2 is available as an Xbox Play Anywhere

Games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6,

titles but also have an incredible skill when it comes to generate hype in gamers and Xbox fans.
Unsurprisingly, that career will be limited to the Xbox 360 - released

Halo, goes to Battlefield now, Microsofts turn to show Assassin's Creed this year, they go on to two more third - party games, then Phil Spencer comes on stage to announce everything from that point on will be Xbox and Windows 10 exclusive kicked off with Turn 10 and their next Forza
title, then they'll show their next Fable game, Chris Charla will then be on stage to talk about [email protected] they'll show some Hololens stuff, talk about Xbox Live and will finish off with The Coalitions new IP, hopefully, otherwise it'll be Gears of

Very well expressed yes I do agree the series is getting to be a bit boring and old in reality all games are I gaming after a ling day at work but there's no real good games out that catch my eye I have been a gears of
war fan since the beginning of time but even that game I don't feel it's worthy of the tine I invested in part 1 just my opinion people I would really want to see a game that would change gaming like
halo did, gow1, cod4 these
titles made way for new exciting gameplay but now I find myself enjoying Mario more then any other game I don't know maybe it's time for a change I always wanted to try world of Warcraft maybe I will atleast that would be a new experience

title to Windows 10 we have the uncomfortable feeling that it won't be substantial enough for many PC players to sink their teeth into and far too simple to hold attention of some erratic console gamers.

Halo Wars 2 is my favorite
title to use this feature.
This means that, going forward, subscribers to the program will have access to new Microsoft Studios games like State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, and future
titles in the
Halo, Forza, and Gears of
War franchises, to name a few.
Flash forward to the recent years and I've played a handful of shooters including both Modern Warfare
titles,
Halo 1 & 2, Gears of
War, Portal, and Bioshock, dwelling last week exclusively on Modern Warfare 2 in order to soak up as much of it as possible before my Xbox Live Gold Account expired (may it rest in peace).
Halo Wars 2 continues in the same vein as the previous
title of the same name.
Some
titles are pretty good ones: Fable 3,
Halo 3, Dead Rising 2, & Gears of
War.
