add in chocolate chips right before ice cream is set.
I followed the recipe exactly (I pre-measured everything and double checked), I
just added in chocolate chips that were tossed in flour to avoid them clumping together.
You can
also add in chocolate chips, or frozen blueberries to make blueberry waffles — just make sure to coat them with a little bit of flour before folding them into your completed batter.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet in batches, and mix until mostly combined,
then add in the chocolate chips (I often have to mix with my hands because the dough gets very stiff).
Fold in dry ingredients and beat 10 seconds, then stop machine and
add in chocolate chips and espresso powder and mix 15 seconds more.
Once combined,
add in the chocolate chips and give it another quick pulse to mix through.
Add in chocolate chips, and (if using) nuts.
Once smooth,
add in the chocolate chips or cacao nibs, pulse once or twice.
Step 3:
Add in chocolate chips and set cookie dough aside (assistance from your kiddos is recommended)
Add in the chocolate chips, stir, and pour into the prepared pan.

Add in some chocolate chips, white chips, peanut butter chips or caramel bits in place of some of the butterscotch — or make a combination of your favorites!
