It's done by
applying highlighter on the areas of your face where the light would naturally hit — cheekbones, brow bones, the cupid's bow, and chin.
During winter I always have to
apply a highlighter for greater results and an extra pop but, for summer, when you just need a small touch up to cover up, it's perfect and my definite go to.
No one wants to look so shiny that they physically reflect light,
so applying highlighter can be a precarious little tango.
Instead of just
applying highlighter straight to your face, mix a drop of our All Over Glow: Lightly Sun Kissed or Deeply Sun Kissed into your favorite liquid foundation.

Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush ~ This smaller, tapered brush is the perfect size to
applying highlighter just where I want it, which is in an almost «c» shape at the tops of my cheekbones and up to my browbone.

by applying highlighter to the high points of the face and then using a Beauty Blender to lightly pat the formula into those areas.
With a fluffy brush or your index finger,
apply a highlighter with a hint of pearlescent shimmer (not sequin - like shine) from the tail end of your brow to the inner corner and blend it upwards to fill in the space below the arch.
Apply highlighter to the inner corner of your eye and the center of your eyelid to appear more awake, then add some just beneath your eyebrow to create an instant lift.

applying your highlighter, lightly mist your brush and if you're feeling a little on the dry side, on your face as well for an extra dewy complexion.
Mini Angled brush can be used to blend shadows on the eyes, to
apply highlighter to the cheeks, or for concealing under eyes.
Apply the highlighter or lighter foundation shade to the areas that would naturally catch light.
Once all of your face makeup is perfectly blended, it's time to

The «Finishing Touch» includes some strobing (
applying highlighter) to my upper cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, and at the top of my eyebrow arch to add a glowy look.
Using your fingers may work in a pinch, but great brushes are the foundation of any good beauty routine whether you're blending out a smoky eye or
applying highlighter to your cheekbones.
Remember to
apply the highlighter on the inner corners of the eyes and above the brow bone to light up your face.
I apply highlighter just atop my cheekbones (over my blush) and ever so lightly and the key is to blend it with a beauty blender after you brush it on!
I normally use Real Techniques Setting brush for
applying my highlighters and it works really well too.
This may seem intimidating, but once you see where you should place a contour color versus where you should
apply a highlighter, you'll be able to sleep at night.
