Some days I wonder why people
who hate religion come to the «belief blog» to voice their opinions.
And I find it very ironic that the few that really
do hate religion spend a lot of time talking about religion.
The fact that many
atheists hate religion and religious people for the very qualities they themselves exhibit every day on these forums is just a fact they can't see.
I do
n't hate religion, but I don't think it offers anything other than false promises and pipe - dreams.
Jesus hated religion so much he came to shake the very foundations of what was being taught at his time.
I just have one question: Why do so many people who
HATE religion so attracted to religious articles?
I'm a big fan of trying to understand and include the vast majority's focus on spirituality and find a way to include them, rather than making a religion
of hating religion, but this is a huge problem.
Nobody other than Jesus
hated religion more than Paul, once a conservative fundamentalist who became the most liberal author in known history.
Normally I take conservative rants about the liberal press
hating religion with a grain of salt but I have to wonder here.
Moreover, the many «secularists» I have known, far
from hating all religion, usually think so little of religion that they for the most part merely ignore it...
They
actively hate religion and religious people... without individual judgement but judgement on the whole... they are prejudice and mean.
Honestly, people who
hate religion speak of him in glowing terms and they even assume he would tolerate gays today because they revere him as a saint.

about hating religion but he subscribes to one of the most widespread religion, talking about how it's the best.
Much like you Christians like to believe you can hate the sin without hating the sinner, you can
hate religion without hating the people.
Your point is not well taken most of the atheist do not
hate religions at all, if the devout would just stay out of trying to run other peoples lives there would be no conflict.
It is like listening to a right wing fanatic scream about all Muslims being terrorists, and
hating religions other than their own because they met one person who was an idiot.
Sorry, but voicing one disbelief in hate - filled, slavery endorsing,
women hating religions does not make one a bigot.
I know this
website hates religion, but the problem is Obama is trampling freedom and forcing his own religous beliefs down everyones throat.
IF people would stop trying to make sure everyone folows thier rules, their god, thier way, and jsut did what their way was, I would not
hate religions o much, and the rest of the planet could get along.
This type of thinking is what makes true patriots (atheists)
truly hate religion and the people who shove it down our throats.
Once current religions have gone the way of hercules and zeus you might find we will be able to better get along without the misconceptions, distrust and
