met an author who didn't want to have their published work on the shelves of a bookstore.
I've been fascinated with this subject, and even wrote a little about it but I've
never met an author who paid for a book review.
We put a lot of effort into supporting authors, promoting their work, diligently hand - selling, inviting them to our festivals and «
meet the author events».
I have
n't met an author yet who wasn't an avid reader, so it just makes sense to support each other.

met an author like that: every author I've ever met has finished a book, and then spent years trying to sell it.
