So sorry but i've only tried it with
soaked quinoa as I find it works best this way.
I really want to make this tonight, but i have
not soaked any quinoa... Is it okay if i just boil the quinoa instead?
I have yet to make these pancakes, as I always forget to
pre soak the quinoa, but I am going to go do it now.
If you choose to
skip soaking the quinoa, rinse it well then combine with 1 and 3/4 cup water in a medium size pot.
There is one step you need to do before you start the popping though and that is to at least wash, and
preferably soak the quinoa before you use it.

Drain soaked quinoa, rinse, bring to a boil in twice the volume of water and let simmer for 20 minutes.

The dough doesn't need rolling or kneading or anything complicated, all you have to do is
simply soak the quinoa overnight and then blend it with salt and dried herbs.
If you're not avoiding grains or staying keto, a simple side of Instant Pot Sprouted Brown Rice or
Fluffy Soaked Quinoa In The Instant Pot would be DIVINE!
My tips for quinoa are (1)
soak quinoa in cold water beforehand to get rid of the bitter taste; (2) toast your quinoa — it tastes nuttier; (3) use a bit less than a 2:1 liquid: grain ratio, as more water makes for soggy quinoa; (4) cook in vegetable stock instead of water and add in flavorings like smashed garlic, peppercorns and fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs.
I start
with soaking the quinoa overnight to remove any bitter taste from its natural coating of saponin and improve digestion.
But I also saw other recipes of a quinoa crust and they add water to the mixture
of soaked quinoa.
Soak the quinoa overnight and then once you have blitzed it in the food processor with the other ingredients it should form into a dough like mixture.
Just one quick question — would this work with quinoa flour instead of
soaked quinoa?

I'll have to try the ACV trick... did I miss what the purpose was for that??? If
you soak your quinoa and let it «minimally sprout», you can then low heat cook it and turns out a great texture I think.
