That being said, I want to get back in the swing of things, and figured what better day than today — when I get to celebrate this handsome future husband of mine being born.

Today I have a bit of work to get done and then I'm spending the rest of the day with Nik and having a BBQ, making the most of the good weather before it leaves us.

Well Toronto isn't getting warm yet — I do feel for you; (But after this great weekend it snowed today and will again for another few days.

In the meantime, fall outfit inspiration on this first day of October is about as good as it's going to get today.

I do love to see everything as positive as I can and always, always find beauty and happiness in the smallest things but today... I just feel like crap, so I'll just hang on with my crappy day, be lazy, maybe read some book, hopefully get over this damn flu and cold and feel much better tomorrow and more positive.
