I just picked up
some tomatillos at the Farmer's Market again last weekend so I am making it tomorrow too!
I bought a bunch of
tomatillos at the store the other day and while looking up recipes for green salsa I came across this green enchilada sauce from Our Best Bites instead.
But lately, I've been seeing gorgeous green
tomatillos at my favorite vegetable market, and they are just begging to be made into salsa.
Surprisingly, I found fresh Washington
tomatillos at PCC the other day, horseradish in the backyard, so there was no excuse not to make some green sauce.

Tomatillo's instead of tomatoes, added leeks and potato's to thicken it up a bit..

at 450 °F.
All it took was a plate of scrambled eggs livened up with
tomatillo salsa
at a neighborhood brunch spot to have me hooked on this vibrant green sauce.
I have never seen fresh
tomatillos in any shops in sydney (although if anyone has seen them
at a farmers market please let me know!)
They're good warm or
at room temperature, and the easy

at my regular grocery store in the same aisle as the bell peppers, jalapenos, serrano peppers etc..
Tomatillo salsa was a condiment she placed on the table
