To be honest the picture of the
cabinet door did not look that bad at all, even though the
color is not necessarily in trend right now, but you may not even need to paint at all if you pick the right
tone of flooring, countertop, and backsplash.

toned walls throughout our open concept home downstairs... darker wood floors... leather sofas... newly remodeled white kitchen... white
cabinets on perimeter with gray Quartz counters... large Old world mahogany island with creamy granite that looks like marble with more
colors with chrome pulls on both... lots of textures throughout (grain sack pillows, chunky handmade by my mom throws)... artwork from my talented teenage daughter (straight knock off of Ballard styles of 3 horses.
And since the floor tile had pretty
tones of blue we opted for a blue - grey
cabinet color — Wolf Gray by Benjamin Moore.
Eventually I had to get over the fact that they are here to stay and that I need to learn to love them, so I decided to go with a mainly white and gray
color palette which will help to make the space look more updated, as well as cool down the rather warm

toned down with some white and it is a perfect accent
color on your lovely media
cabinet — love the way you added it to the legs as well.
The bright
colors of the dishes blend with the warm
tones of the stain on the kitchen's lower
cabinets.
The finish on the kitchen's upper
cabinets complements the wood walls throughout the rest of the house, but since the kitchen is also the home's darkest room, the red makes it feel connected to the adjacent living area (which features jewel -
tone colors), but detatched at the same time.

On my computer the painted
cabinets look like a dark charcoal (which doesn't do anything for me), but you said «teal» and I love that
color & that jewel
tone does go much better with the whole Moroccan feel... plus, yay on the butcher block counters which again warms it up & balances out the b / w (thank goodness they didn't put in freaky granite that would've been a major needle record screech).

I like to use the same elements around the room to help make things flow and feel cohesive — the same glass bud vases and spring blooms, old books, a pop of green, and the
color of the frames mimic the
tone of the wicker bottle and map hanging over the apothecary
cabinet.
As I mentioned in # 1 above, I'm seeing lots more two -
toned kitchens — often upper
cabinets are white, and lower
cabinets or islands are painted a
color, or stained.
