I even thought top clubs were in for him. Some three or 2 seasons back many here were debating why he should be our main striker. As soon as you mention any other strikers name people would come out with stats and many things defending him.Even Wenger has defended him blindly in the past.People say Wenger's stubborn yeah. But don't we know that there's a reason why everything happens?Honestly speaking he's the reason why Arsene Wenger has failed to sign a top notch striker because he still believes in him.The funny thing is we signed Welbeck at that time who to me did nothing before to be the main man here.People keep saying Welbeck is hardworking and that he works his socks off.But the question is was that our reason for signing him.Welbeck being signed to challenge Giroud tells me a lot about Giroud's quality.Even Walcott (no offence to him) who has zero CF qualities was even chosen over him for a string of games and all in all I think he did well but has too many defeciencies for that role. We've compromised as a club and it'll come back to bite us.
we have at most 4 real quality outfielders i.e. players that other top european teams would take... ozil sanchez santi and kos... in my books you need 6... we are two short but worse the quality of others is lower than needed... only bellerin coq and wilshere have that potential... and there are problems with each still... we should have put in bids in june for griezman kondogbia and the Burussia striker as all could have been prized away with right bid plus players thrown in IMO... now its too late and wenger is in some weird gallic world of existential hope and denial and fans are just praying we do nt lose opening 2 matches for first time in over two decades... but no one is really confident against a team which is sure to finish around mid table...
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
This guy is not consistent enough to be an arsenal player is over pampered by Wenger, if he leaves with a good replacement no problem... i am tired of this average players, every season top four battle, the only season we are suppose to win the epl when other teams where not inform we ended as runners up, too bad this season now we are not fighting for the league i am tired and sick of this ally the time

Wenger's fixation with Walcott and mertesakher as starting players remains a mystery to me... neither have the quality of a top team like arsenal... I am not a giroud hater but he is still too inconsistent and the big question is whether welbeck can push him in a way Walcott won't... Campbell has done well and has moved ahead of Walcott and, ox for sure but there is still a question about how much more he can improve... Elneny is certainly an upgrade over arteta and flamini whether he will make it I don't know just hope that he does but arguably wenger could have been more ambitious... That leaves a top quality striking option... There is no doubt that wenger deluded himself over the summer and that needs to be corrected ASAP... Draxler dybala aube and even griezman with a big enough big could have been prized in summer... january not a good time for this but it is not difficult to find better options than Walcott ox or Campbell... All a question of whether wenger wants to win EPL on his terms or wants to win this for the club
I see we are interested in griezman 6 months too late... Sick of having a right winger praised for being a human Duracell battery want a right winger who threatens defences constantly down the right wing and can cross and cut in... And why the f @@@ is mertesakher playing a decent attack would have capitalized on his basic defensive errors and game could have been over on the hour mark... And is Walcott even in the top twenty goal scorers in the premiership so far this year?
but the atmosphere at emirates is sad like terrible u look at anfield and it hurts me because we're such poorly ran club from fans point view we're are diehards all splits all over stadium joke we need leaders at arsenal top too bottom but this arsenal is not arsenal of old were is our Tony Adams ray palour, we're is our pride how dear man Utd get Sanchez like how dear even ask pride is word here folks we have none as in overheads us fans are joke like boycott next game stay away or go and stand outside stadium for full match stand together stand tall we will be heard we are arsenal we are there customers we are Gona make change but by money cause that's wat this club is money and Sanchez Utd proves it
lets all thank arsene for finally doing the right thing only time will tell but have we finally signed the DM we need STRONG MINDED NO HOLD BAR MIDFIELDER WE HAVE ALL CRAVED, but lets take it back we all know it will take 2 or 3 more like minded players to make us great again, he has tricked us all buy buying one superstar in the last 3 windows ALEXIS, OZIL and CHEC great players but can't do it all on their own, spending huge amount of money and saying we can buy the best players, on the surface this looks great we are buying top top players big prices but instead of spending his usual 50 mill on 2, 3, 4, 0r 5 players he has pulled the wool over are eyes with 1 superstar thinking the fans are that dumb enough to believe it, infact he has never spent his budget only balanced on sales too purchases, i love arsenal but this summer i hope for more he needs to do that consistently through out the team spend the same amount on the team stop balancing the american owners, grow a pair say yes we will buy a top defender and a world class striker, stan we love arsenal please be one of us do whats needed then you will fell proud as we are and we will adore you for it.
It won't be new for a top team to start well & win the title ahead of us, it won't be new for us to start well & be overtaken by another team when it really matters, it wont» be new to have so many injuries, it won't be new for Wenger to let us down over transfers, it certainly isn't new to have a poor start to the season... Let's all be hopeful that things will change for the better sooner than later, but let's not put too much energy into thinking about it!
I hope I'm wrong but this could be the most damaging win when it comes to transfers... winning 1 game, after about 20 minutes of really good play, is of little consequence in the grand scheme of things... only those with the most selfish of intentions would suggest otherwise... the only reason we're even in this predicament, where were celebrating our first victory of 2018 against a bottom half squad who is managed by possibly the only individual more antiquated than our manager, is because of Wenger's ridiculous mishandling of his contract last year combined with his mishandling of the contracts of our top players this year; a fact that he himself admitted to... so before you get too excited about the possibilities of our current roster don't forget what has happened over the last several years and pray to the gods of football that real quality reinforcements like Auba are on the way, which could have happened years ago for less money and we might have been holding a trophy of some significance, or this brief respite will be followed by the usual mediocrity and stagnation
I'd play him in midfield with jack he reminds me Micheal Thomas we have bring sead kolosinic back in or even put him right back cause bellerin has being nothing short of disastrous in every way I like him as a man but my god he has not pushed on and I must say Cech looks so old and sluggish like last nite when Hernandez hit cross bar Cech looked so slow reactions gone we need keeper and I think Forster be great for us da guy at Southampton I think ozil will stay he's trying a lot more so would I to get 280 thousand weekly and Sanchez won't go cause not that he wants stay but he's form is very worrying hard take 3 weeks ago I looked at table and said we'll finish above spuds by ten points and in top 4 easily now we're behind them we have no consistency and manager that's just too old I love wenger always will but it's time and I think artery would be great choice for manager he meant be great coach maybe he's the one get Man City so great after all he loves arsenal maybe it's wenger plan go learn from pep and come bk when I leave take over and mersaker as he's no2 arteta and bfg take us forward and hand picked by wenger conspiracy theory begins
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the big name players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
His side picked up a dramatic last - gasp win over Wales last time out to put themselves in pole position to finish top of the group, although Slovakia's victory against Russia leaves them with plenty to play for too while the Welsh will also be hopeful of picking up three points on Monday night.
It might be too much for us to hope that their poor form and low confidence in the Bundesliga transfers over to Europe for them to fail to beat Anderlecht or Galatasaray, but with our own injury crisis easing and our performances on the up, it is not too much to hope that we could beat them at the Emirates and pip them to top spot.
im just saying Mcgreogrs striking is wayy too advanced to not find khabibs chin several times, over lets say 7 minutes, and its like a REALLY good posibilty connor lasts at least that, by any metric, his durability and khabibs (lack of) early finishes at top level leads me to belive way too many chances for mcgregor to fold him, i actually think thats easy money but well see.
As they sit top of the Premier League table with a 12 - point lead over nearest rivals Man Utd, coupled with the fact that they've reached the League Cup final and are still in with a shout for the quadruple with the FA Cup and Champions League, it's difficult to pick too many holes in the current squad.
The defense, for their part, allowed far too many passes over the middle and couldn't muster a good pass rush until the game's final play; they gave up big plays, too, as both Raymon Taylor and Jourdan Lewis were beat for big gains over the top.
Paul Merson believes it is too soon for Arsenal to prioritise the Europa League over a top - four finish.
Am reading all over the net and hear as well that people are blaming the players fabianski for not getting his angles right, he had an ok game but a top class keeper would not be beaten at his near post, song who out of nowhere has become an attacking midfielder, chamaka for missing two easy headers, diaby for taking too long on the ball, Squillaci, Koscielny i know they new but they are making some mistakes that school boys would not basic mistakes rosciky for blasting a penalty over the bar when a cool head was needed, deneilson your team leading 1 nill late in a game and you shoot rather than take or pass the ball to the corner i can go on almunia whose technique is horrible and you say this team has improved.
The top six are consistently much too good for the others over the course of a season, although there are some short - term minor blips.

If your baby pops off the breast while nursing, and you see her grimace or bear down or push (or not - it can be stealthy, too), you can continue nursing over a pad or pull baby off for a moment to potty over a pad (or a bowl, or a top hat potty, or the ground) to relieve herself and then return to the breast - to finish the full meal.
It's like panning for gold: We pore over the top baby names of the year (and the less common ones too) to spot the trends that are influencing name choices.
