In small bowl, stir 3 tablespoons peach preserves; carefully spoon preserves
around top edge of cake, allowing some to drizzle down side.
Slowly pipe along
the top edge of the cake, squeezing more in the places you want it to drip down.

the top edge of the cake and add sprinkles to the center of the cake.
Pipe stars all around
the top edges of the cake, trying to put them close together, so the cherry filling doesn't ooze out through the piped stars later.
Using a piping bag (or a plastic sandwich baggie with the corner cut off), pipe a thick line of frosting around
the top edge of the cake layer.
Drizzle the melted chocolate around
the top edge of the cake.
