a top name striker, they firstly have to fit into the team (chemistry, philosophy etc) and they have to adapt to the premier league.
If there is
no top name striker avail right now well then we should start proceedings about getting one early in next window, then sign a holding midfielder and mention how we couldn't get the striker in time but aim to bring him in soon.

Chelsea got batuayi (whatever his
name is)?????? Have u watched a full marsielle match where he was their
striker???? I promise, ull believe sako (crystal palace) is lewandowski's heir... $ 40m for him????? OH HELLLLL NOOOOOOO!!!!!!... Wenger will buy a known
striker (I'm 100 % sure) but he doesn't want to get it wrong and have another «deadwood in 2 years» in our hands... not a Wenger fan but hw many

- He can be a
top striker on a good day but lack of consistency is what will keep away from being
named among the greats.
There are still many Arsenal fans calling for Arsene Wenger to invest in a
top striker this summer, despite the brilliant form of Olivier Giroud, and one of the
names most mentioned is Porto's Jackson Martinez, who has been highly praised by Wenger this season.
But I think we could say the same of any big
name forward that Arsene Wenger signs this summer and Giroud must be aware that his boss is looking to sign a
top class
striker for Arsenal, so I reckon we should keep that in mind when we hear what Olly had to say on the speculation surrounding his fellow countryman, as reported by Metro.
I even thought
top clubs were in for him. Some three or 2 seasons back many here were debating why he should be our main
striker. As soon as you mention any other
strikers name people would come out with stats and many things defending him.Even Wenger has defended him blindly in the past.People say Wenger's stubborn yeah. But don't we know that there's a reason why everything happens?Honestly speaking he's the reason why Arsene Wenger has failed to sign a
top notch
striker because he still believes in him.The funny thing is we signed Welbeck at that time who to me did nothing before to be the main man here.People keep saying Welbeck is hardworking and that he works his socks off.But the question is was that our reason for signing him.Welbeck being signed to challenge Giroud tells me a lot about Giroud's quality.Even Walcott (no offence to him) who has zero CF qualities was even chosen over him for a string of games and all in all I think he did well but has too many defeciencies for that role. We've compromised as a club and it'll come back to bite us.
I fkin don't mind, just sign a damn
striker.the more time goes by the less chance we have of even getting a
striker, I'm just scared Wenger has decided to
name Theo our new
top draw
striker.
The rumour mill will undoubtedly throw out a whole host of
names that Arsenal could sign during the summer (Zlatan Ibrahimovic being one that stands out), but while Wenger's eye for a bargain may have deserted him, most people would agree that our chances of success next season would be significant improved by the arrival of a
top quality centre - back, holding midfielder and proven goal - scoring
striker.
Yeah, we've been chasing so called
top draw
strikers for a while now and have turned our attentions to the likes if Higuain, Cavani, Benzema to
name a few but all of them, along with their agents and current employers have decided to turn us down.

I have been reading comments of fans on here, especially those who have chosen to appreciate the average in ability that a
striker like giroud possess, my question for ya all is, when did arsenal become a team so low on profile to sing praise of a
striker who no one can rank among the
top 3
striker in the league, I have seen an arsenal team with a striking force with players like, anelka, Wright, Henry, v persie, no one can rank giroud or whatever his
name is in the category of my mentioned
strikers.we all have got to face it, giroud is not good enough to be leading the attack of a team dreaming of winning the league, and Henry is right saying arsenal can't win the league with giroud as our
striker,,, check this out, man u won league titles with
strikers like Rooney, van nisteroy, v persie, man city won with aguero, Chelsea with drogba and now Costa, giroud stand no chance against any of those.let's stop appreciating mediocrity, wenger should get us a good
striker as giroud is damn too average for arsenal

@Champaigne Charlie, if you say we don't need a world class
striker cus we have Giroud and I would say we don't need another
top DM cus we have Coquelin.I would like to remind you that statistically Coquelin's performance this season has surpassed that of Matic and Schneiderlin so really do we want a big
name player or somebody who delivers whenever he is needed?
